make the video and audio stop buffering every 10 seconds
stop all the buffering

Hey all,
I would like to let you know that we have a special feature to report such issues as buffering, or any other playback issue. To do so, please click on the Settings icon (cog wheel) in the bottom right corner of your video screen and select the Report Playback Issue option. This will directly send a report to the relevant team with the necessary information to accurately track all hiccups with the players that occur, by attaching the specific data in real time needed to investigate such issues. Thank you!

No matter which browser I use, opera gx, brave, chrome, all have the same issue that the video keeps freezing every few secs even though i've turned off low latency and my internet is working perfectly well. It's so unbearable to watch anything at all can you guys actually fix it and do something about it this issue has been recurring for a long time now

I experience the same thing as "monksuu" below on US servers since 1 week. :/ There is definitively a problem somewhere server side! Worst between 8pm to 11pm Eastern time
"No wonder it can't keep up with 1080p60 stream running 6 kbps while sometimes waiting for packets up to 2.4 seconds. The server can barely keep a 1080p60 stream downscaled to 720p60 going without buffering constantly but the low latency mode is off the table."

The "Finnish" server (really looks like to be in London, UK) 151.101.246.167 is lagging really hard. Looks like it happens every time of the day so we can rule out lots of traffic around 4am. According to traceroute the last visible hop is on 154.25.8.26 that belongs to cogentco.com. If the server really was in Finland, it wouldn't go to servers in London (lookip.net/ip/149.11.164.1) or servers having "sto03" (Stockholm, Sweden?) in their domain name.
Pinging the "Finnish" (from Country Flag + extension) server gave lots of answers:
--- 151.101.246.167 ping statistics ---
100 packets transmitted, 100 received, 0% packet loss, time 99186ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 23.877/183.443/2366.548/427.185 ms, pipe 3No wonder it can't keep up with 1080p60 stream running 6 kbps while sometimes waiting for packets up to 2.4 seconds. The server can barely keep a 1080p60 stream downscaled to 720p60 going without buffering constantly but the low latency mode is off the table.
It's been about an hour since I started writing this comment and I had a stream running in background. It was set to be in low latency but the current latency to the streamer is 4.33 sec with 29 skipped frames in 720p60.

A video should pop up when it notices lots of buffering that suggest the user to lower the quality. Countless times people have been watching my stream and I just suggest lowering the quality and it works for them.

5 minutes to buffer a 30 second clip on a 200 mb/s steady connection. I am deleting my twitch account your profits must be insane yet your site is actually unusable

Buffering issue that just started happening a few days ago. Never had any problems whatsoever before this and no it is not my internet connection.

Fix your ******* buffering. It's making streams literally unwatchable... unless I want to watch five seconds of stream followed by ten seconds of buffering.

The title says it all. There is nothing wrong with internet or on the streamers ends which means the problems is on twitch their end! FIX IT! I want to watch streams again!

@elixorx Exactly the same thing on Brave and on Chrome, not better on both browsers! The problem stays the same, it's their servers.

I get this a lot on Firefox and not at all on Chrome

Since 3 weeks, between (7pm to 11pm +) EST, it's H3LL on twitch for viewers. I'm the main mod of a partnered stream, and we have complains each nights about this, and I'm myself touched by this unacceptable and very irritating problem!
I must watch streams now at 480p at peak hours! What did you do to your servers??!!

Everything works perfectly fine except Twitch, and only with non partners, which most of the people I watch are not. stop being cheap twitch, maybe use that Amazon money for this instead of hiring people who advocate against communication in video games.
