Increase transparency on automated security measures on chat
I've recently found myself unable to chat due to "automated security measures" - I haven't done anything unusual, there's nothing in my appeals section, and no error messages.
I contacted support and did all the troubleshooting to be connected to an agent, who was unable to say anything other than "This is an automated security feature". No information on the cause, or duration of the invisible chat ban.
I'm scheduled to stream and don't know if I'll be able to interact with my chat or not, with no indication on if this will be resolved or not. Having some transparency on this would be a big quality of life improvement.

I agree that there should be more transparency around automated security measures. Users should be able to see why an account was flagged and how long the restriction is expected to last. Clear information and better guidance would make it much easier to understand and address security issues. For businesses dealing with more complex online security concerns, professional **security consulting services** can also help with identifying risks and improving security practices.

100% Agree. I had a similar experience today/yesterday. I thought my streamer friends were just ignoring me in chat, since there isn't even a message/error when you send the messages -- it just pretends like you actually sent it.
The friends who were able to see my messages before that are equally confused as to why I was flagged, and not knowing why makes it difficult for us to take actions to avoid being flagged in the future.
Creating a portal for these flags as Twitch does with appeals would be helpful.
So we can track why / how long.Especially since, to my knowledge, the only way for us to know if we're still flagged is to try talking again. And I'm not sure if that just makes the situation worse or not, since twitch support couldn't answer that either. (Though they've been nothing but nice throughout the process, they just couldn't answer my questions beyond "soon" which is so far, a lot longer than my opinion on soon -- especially since they couldn't tell me if it would be hours or days)
Any kinds of features for transparency would be SO appreciated.
Thanks
