Add a feature for mods to HIDE a message instead of only Delete.
Sometimes people get moderated in chat because they are being "bad" (posting spam, bad URL's, and or swearing) and moderators will "delete message". But then sometimes people who say something helpful (like a game hint, when the streamer says no hints/spoilers), will get the same treatment "message deleted", however many times these people are quite innocently trying to help, but did not notice the streamer wants no hints/spoilers. I feel this is not a good practice to "delete messages" that have good intentions, as the entire chat room sees their message was "deleted by a mod" (with no reason given) and that can make the user seem like a bad person (swearing or posting bad URL's etc.) And people in chat might start to become biased towards a helpful user who made a mistake. Instead why not give mods a new option to "hide message", reserving delete message for much more severe comments. Also adding an option to "view hidden message" for people in chat who might want to read the hint/spoiler. This seems much more polite, as sometimes we all make mistakes, and deleting peoples comments feels like a punishment, and can cause others in chat who did not see what your comment was to assume you are a jerk and treat you poorly.
(Personally I'd also like to see mods encouraged to be more positive/polite at 1st like pointing out your mistake like "hey did you notice the streamer does not want hints - so I have hidden your message." and only if they keep posting hints/spoilers then resort to deleting their messages or time outs.)

A useful improvement for chat moderation would be to give mods the option to “hide a message” instead of immediately deleting it, especially when users post with good intentions, like giving helpful hints or advice, but accidentally break a chat guideline. This approach prevents innocent users from looking like they are being punished, reducing bias and negative perceptions in the chat, while still allowing moderators to maintain order. Additionally, including a “view hidden message” option would let curious users access the content if they wish, keeping moderation fair and transparent. Encouraging mods to first politely inform users, e.g., “Hey, the streamer prefers no spoilers, so your message has been hidden,” before escalating to deletions or timeouts, promotes a positive chat environment. For example, a community might integrate tools like https://bottleneckcalcullator.com/ to help users check game setups while keeping the chat clean and respectful.
