Users in Chat should be visible ONLY to Streamers and Moderators
Users in Chat is a tool that is often used for stalking, so it should be hidden from general users. At the very least, it should NOT BE VISIBLE TO USERS WHO ARE NOT LOGGED IN.
What purpose does this list serve for viewers in the first place? If a chat message is sent, you can see who sent it. Isn't that sufficient for viewers? There are people who prefer to watch streams quietly without being "hunted" by other viewers or who feel that way at times.
In fact, there are people who are clearly monitoring the viewer lists of streams. My friends and I have been monitored about which streams we are in and have been mocked on message boards and social media for it. To make matters worse, the person doing this hides behind anonymity, making it difficult to identify them, which is extremely frustrating.
For general viewers who do not have moderation capabilities, Users in Chat is an unnecessary feature.
Additionally, there are unofficial add-ons that allow users to log out of chat only, but this is not possible on smartphone apps, so Twitch needs to implement this officially.
I request one of the following:
・Make Users in Chat accessible only to the streamer and moderators.
・Make Users in Chat accessible only to the streamer, moderators, and logged-in users. Additionally, it should not be available to users who are blocked by the streamer.
