[Test] First Participation Highlight in Creator/Mod Chat
Some creators will notice a new first-time chatter highlight is now available in chat. This feature lets creators and their mods identify and welcome newcomers in chat to their community when appropriate. The highlight is only available to creators and their mods in chat and is not displayed to the rest of your community. This feature is in a limited release, and we will monitor feedback before making it more widely available.
Creators and their mods are enrolled in the limited release automatically, and they can toggle the feature on and off in chat settings under "First Time Chat Highlight."
We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions here. We look forward to hearing your feedback!
We are happy to announce that the First-Time Chatter Highlight is now available to all creators and mods! You can learn more about this feature at the below link. Thank you all for your feedback!

It'll be a great idea as well as featuring new creators on twitch. There's no reason why we should be beaten out of views by girls showing *** on a platform that wasn't intended for that but hopefully my comments aren't taken negatively.

An amazing addition. Should be rolled out. It is extremely important to not only acknowledge regulars but to specifically recognize first time charters, what an amazing new feature for growth.

it is a very helpful feature to identify new comers and I can get a chance to know where they came from.
I would also suggest Twitch to let us know whenever a new audience joins the game -

I love this feature a lot! I get excited every time I see the pop up and I'm glad I get to greet new viewers quickly without missing it! I really hope this feature becomes permanent!

GREAT feature and very helpful. I like that my mods can see it as well. I agree with not allowing the viewers to disable it, but rather allow for the streamer to toggle the feature on or off. This allows the streamer to remain consistent with viewer/mod expectations and content creation.

I found it very interesting to know who arrived for the first time so that I could welcome them in the best possible way and let them know how live works :) Even interesting to be able to do other things, such as: conversation starter; helper; like to make friends

This feature is very nice, as it makes it easier to give recognize trolls or give better information, because new viewers might not know the concept of the streams yet.
I also don't think it would be a good idea to give viewers the option to disable it, because then many people would just disable it, if they see that option, because they might assume that everybody in the chat sees it and not just the streamer and the mods. Actually not even the viewers would see it, so they also don't know that this kind of future exists unless they also stream or mod for somebody else.
Besides, if a streamer or a mod acts negatively after seeing that somebody is new, then the problem isn't really this feature, but this kind of people.
