[Test] First Participation Highlight in Creator/Mod Chat

Some creators will notice a new first-time chatter highlight is now available in chat. This feature lets creators and their mods identify and welcome newcomers in chat to their community when appropriate. The highlight is only available to creators and their mods in chat and is not displayed to the rest of your community. This feature is in a limited release, and we will monitor feedback before making it more widely available.

Creators and their mods are enrolled in the limited release automatically, and they can toggle the feature on and off in chat settings under "First Time Chat Highlight."

We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions here. We look forward to hearing your feedback!

It's honestly very useful, and a great way to pay attention to new viewers and welcome them to the chat! I was very happy when I noticed this new integration to twitch chat

Makes it a bit more special for people in chat in welcoming the new person. I really like the feature, and I feel like I want to know more about them so they also chat with the regulars or me, as well

This is really an amazing idea, and really helpful! I have been testing it for a while and it really helps to be able to say hello to the newcomers maybe faster since you can see them better now.

I think this feature will look better without an additional sentence that will overcrowded the chat but just with a little logo and a color on the left side, like subs.

Love this feature! The only issue is it doesn’t work if you use your phone for chat. Hopefully you’ll make it work in the future ❤️
