[Test] First Participation Highlight in Creator/Mod Chat
Some creators will notice a new first-time chatter highlight is now available in chat. This feature lets creators and their mods identify and welcome newcomers in chat to their community when appropriate. The highlight is only available to creators and their mods in chat and is not displayed to the rest of your community. This feature is in a limited release, and we will monitor feedback before making it more widely available.
Creators and their mods are enrolled in the limited release automatically, and they can toggle the feature on and off in chat settings under "First Time Chat Highlight."
We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions here. We look forward to hearing your feedback!
We are happy to announce that the First-Time Chatter Highlight is now available to all creators and mods! You can learn more about this feature at the below link. Thank you all for your feedback!

I think it's a great way to encourage engagement in streams. It's also awesome to see new faces and make them feel welcome.

One of the better Twitch updates for sure. Makes it certain that I won't miss a new message when someone types for the first time. Thanks Twitch!

Honestly great, it's adding a lot of actual bulk to the chat window, but during ANY time other than a huge raid, it's a godsend. Really a fine feature overall, just wish it would compress down a little more during raids - or auto-slow or something.

I love the feature, it does helps with keeping new people engaged by noticing them in the chat, also to insta-ban any spammers or bots that might come to the channel :)

I absolutely love this feature! Sometimes chat gets a lil crazy & it's easy to miss the newcomers. This let me hype them up & give them a proper welcome! I think a lot of creators would appreciate this!

Didn't realise I was in the beta until yesterdays stream, absolutely love the feature. Helped me welcome two brand new chatters, as I sometimes lose track of semi casuals who I only see every few months or a username I think I recognise but aren't sure if they're new to my channel.

AMAZING addition!! I also appreciate how the label is only seen by the streamer and mods so the chatter isn’t put on the spot.
I love it! These are the types of features we love to see! -

These are the types of features we want twitch! GREAT JOB, I would always have to click off my game and check the messages of a user to see of I needed to welcome them or of they had already been here, this feature will help out a ton when interacting with new users in the chat! I'm excited :)

I got the notification that this was now available to me but the option is not in the chat settings on my channel or stream manager chat windows
