[Test] First Participation Highlight in Creator/Mod Chat

Some creators will notice a new first-time chatter highlight is now available in chat. This feature lets creators and their mods identify and welcome newcomers in chat to their community when appropriate. The highlight is only available to creators and their mods in chat and is not displayed to the rest of your community. This feature is in a limited release, and we will monitor feedback before making it more widely available.

Creators and their mods are enrolled in the limited release automatically, and they can toggle the feature on and off in chat settings under "First Time Chat Highlight."

We'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions here. We look forward to hearing your feedback!

I am a huge fan of this add! It is a great way to identify first time viewers and I hope it stays within the platform.

This works great, i’d love to see something similar for viewers who barely talk or have been quiet for quite some time (days)

Thank you for the invite but I don't see where to enable it?

Thank you for the beta invite, this looks like a great feature! I can't find the button in the settings however. Mind clarifying with a screenshot?

I love this idea, but I don't see an option to enable this in my chat settings. But I look forward to this being something widely available.

This is a great feature, especially for my bad memory.

Really cool feature! Following on it, it'd be really useful to have an optional message highlight for first time messages for a given stream, so newcomers can be greeted appropriately.

LOVE this new feature! It's been awesome seeing who all is a first time viewer and getting to welcome them for their first time in chat confidently without having to second guess if you've seen them before or not.

I noticed it today and thought it was a great and thoughtful addition. Hope it stays around!

This is a very useful feature and I love it. It has been helpful for knowing if someone new arrived or someone I have not seen in the stream for a long time showed back up.

AMAZING Addition. Allows me to engage with newcomers and become aware of who's entering the stream. Would love to see it expanded for all streamers.

Very good addition. This allows me to target those individuals and make sure I engage them more. Hopefully, this will encourage more participation from the lurkers we all may have. :)
