Investigate Auto-Ban Bug
Explore bug causing accounts to be repeatedly auto-flagged for abuse within days of being unlocked despite content of messages not being abusive and/or chat ban evasion occurring.
Customer service refuse to acknowledge issue or provide further detail as to cause/method of prevention. Scripted auto replies and marking cases as solved isn’t addressing a customer query of a genuine request for information.
This is also affecting me. I emailed customer service and they gave me generic response about "abusive behavior"
This has been happening to me for months without realizing it. I've been wondering why my chats would never show on the streamers screen or no one would ever respond. Even after subbing to channels. Turn off VPN and it magically worked. Turn back on, chats stop showing to others. Twitch shadowbanned chat for VPN users who are PAYING customers. Completely unacceptable to not tell users their chats are not being shown for using a VPN. It's one thing to do it to prevent spam/abuse. Its another to do it under the radar for paying twitch users.
