Let us turn off either gift subscription notifications or chat entirely.

When watching a stream, and people keep giving out gift subs, the chat window keeps opening and shrinking the actual video I am watching. Either allow us to turn off gift subscription notifications or let us turn off chat entirely. Otherwise, I will stop subscribing and just watch on YouTube later.

    Please fix this issue. A very disappointing concept to not be able to turn chat permanently off. Please allow the user to turn chat off. This is currently not the case. If someone is being harassed or the chat is toxic and I want to turn chat off I am continually having to mute chat. Someone donates...chat then turns automatically back on? WTF? Then I turn it off. Someone cheers in the closed chat window. Hey, let's pop up the chat screen again, make the streamers window smaller, and then cause me to close chat again, and again, and again,and again. If there is extremely inappropriate content in chat and I could not turn the chat window off permanently is completely absurd. Come on, please resolve this.
