This is a slap in the face to any and all artists who call your platform home. There are countless artists who would jump at the opportunity to make custom work for the community, but instead you disrespect the intelligence of both your community and the artists who stream to them by using this lazy approach. It completely cheapens the platform. My livelihood as an independent artist is threatened daily by AI generated slop, let alone all of the ethical issues it causes through generation of illegal sexual content involving minors, deepfakes, etc., as well as how much misinformation is being spread as a result of people relying on these generators instead of actual factual sources - I see this action as a direct stamp of approval of these things by Twitch, and makes me question the future direction of the platform as a whole.

Agree with all of the above - my stream is primarily SFW but I still don't feel comfortable with children in my space either. Keep the new labels, but don't get rid of the old one!

We would definitely like to give Mods a way to communicate with each other more easily, and are starting to explore implementation options.

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

As an art streamer, I want nothing to do with my art being scraped for genAI, let alone my likeness, the things I say, and my voice. This is an incredible violation of the privacy and autonomy of those who use your platform.
