Viewbotting/Followbotting Moderators or streamers have a "report" button that notifies twitch staff of a viewbot or followbot attack and it can ping a staff member to come and watch the channel to see the attack in action so that the attacker cannot report the channel for viewbotting/following.

Shared ban list auto-ban Shared ban lists should have the option of auto-banning people on the list (instead of just monitoring or restricting them). Most likely this would have to be paired with some way of categorizing and collaborating on your ban list so you could just share a "worst of the worst" ban list with another streamer and anyone either of you adds there would be auto-banned from both your channels. This could help streamers who have shared values and a close relationship avoid problematic streamers.

Different roles of moderator I feel it would be super interesting to have custom moderator permission. In particular i feel it woul be interesting for editor to have more permissions example changing channel points reward cooldown,etc. Example have the editor role for the video manager only.

Add the ability to choose whether mods can use blocked terms There are some terms that you just DON'T WANT in your chat, so you block them, but then a mod could come in and still use it...
My suggestion is that something like a checkbox or a dropdown is added to the Blocked Terms manager that denotes whether mods, vips, subs, etc can use a blocked term.For example, you may be ok with only mods being able to use the F word, but you REALLY don't want ANYONE to use the C, N or R words, not even mods.

Twitch needs a tiering system for moderator abilities. There needs to be an option to choose what powers moderators get. Training a new mod? give them only the ability to delete messages and give timeouts. One of your mods bans people too easily? Take away their ability to ban people. This needs to be more granular.

Delete individual messages without purging You can do this in VODs, why not while live? Many times a user simply made a mistake and didn't realize the full rules. I don't want to remove all context of our conversation because they put a word in a message they didn't realize was banned.
Also it's confusing for new mods to time-out instead of deleting an offending message.

Warning system update. The addition of the warning system is great. But I feel its missing something, as its too easy for users who are receiving the warning to simply accept and move on without truly reading what is being said to them. Adding the option for mod teams to timeout a user for 30s/60s/180s to make a user more attentive to what is being shown on screen is one part. But also changing how a user "accepts" said warning as well. Requiring the user to physically type out "I accept" or "I acknowledge" being the only acceptable responses.

A filter of somesort to see users who have typed filtered phrases A tool that allows moderators to see users who have tried to use banned words in the chat. As in many chats i have moderated for i have the term "viewers on" banned so scam bots can not post any more. But this means i also can't report them and notify Twitch of the rampant accounts.

Bann multiple accounts with same IP I think twitch has to improve the way new accounts are created. Recently in a chat I moderate there was a guy creating accounts with the username composed with the streamer's name followed by an insult and despite being banned every single time, he keep creating new accounts every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that twitch account creation system doesn't prevent that behavior from happening.
Also, after reporting every account one by one, they only removed one of them (the third one), and not the original account nor de subsequent accounts.9 votes -
Fake Follow Bot Raids A filter for the activity feed to flag followers and the ability to multi-select new followers so we can batch select fake followers so we can ban & remove them easily.

Permitted Term Have an option to permit a message that is flagged by auto mod instead of adding it as a permitted term.
This is because sometimes a term is relevant to a topic of discussion but can quickly be used in an inappropriate or hateful manner.9 votes -
Change Shield command to something that won't colide with shoutouts. Change the name of the Shield command to reduce likelihood of collision with the Shoutout command. Mistyping a shoutout shouldn't wipe chat.
Example: Typing "/sh" followed by "tab" used to autofill the command to "/shoutout". The introduction of the Shield command means this now autofills to "/shield" which is a massively different command, and not one that you want to do by accident.

shared ban list bug I share ban list with another account, I banned an account prior to the ability of being able to share bans. I recently unbanned that account but it's still reporting it being banned in my shared ban list to other accounts but it's not banned in my account. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Request for "Emergency" mod tools Currently watcvhing a stream who has accidentally left obs running with an open mic.
A mod tool that would be invaluable here is an "emergency cut stream" feature that knocks the streamer offline / breaks the stream connection that can then only be corrected by the streamer (maybe invalidating the stream, token, or only being reset by a new connection from the streaming software) to save them from being banned for inadvertently broadcasting something against ToS.

moderators command Making a moderation feature that allows channel owners to give permissions to each individual moderators. This feature will give certain moderators access to manage commands/other features that only editors could access before. for example twitch has An editor role and a moderator role that can manage the broadcasters channel,right? so by adding a tool that allows certain editor commands/abilities to each individual moderators would be helpful to the channel owner, this command would need to be authorized by the owner of a channel or a editor. similar to how discord servers work(server owner can give any member of the server…

IP banish people from livestreams Allow broadcasters to ip ban viewers from their stream & no longer watch there stream. Also an option for broadcasters to set this permission for moderators if they are comfortable.

Edit Channel Points and Info panels - Lead Moderators Recently, the role of Lead Moderator was introduced.
While it grants slightly more permissions, in my opinion, they're still not enough. For example, I still lack permission to edit channel points (rewards). I also can't edit the info panels. This begs the question...why? It would be great if this could be added for Lead Moderators.

Adding features to mobile for mods Now that mod view is on mobile they should add the feature for mods to swap in and out of mod view without having to leave the stream to go back to normal view as well as make all the mod commands work on mobile like /announce /poll and others and make it to were you can pin messages on mobile without needing to have a browser open same thing goes for channel point redemptions and predictions of course giving the mods the option to choose which ones they want on their as well as letting them click to see…
