Shared ban info is broken
Hello, I wanted to bring up an issue regarding shared ban info.
I am a moderator for a channel and last year, we raided another channel. Since then, the streamers from both channels have become friends. Recently, we decided to link our channels via shared ban info.
The problem is that some of our regulars were banned from the other channel during the raid a year ago. Now, when our regulars try to chat in our channel, they are being restricted because they are still banned in the other channel.
These are valuable members of our community and it's upsetting to see them unable to participate in our chat.
The streamer from our channel is not very technical and does not understand how to adjust the settings. As a moderator, I don't have the ability to change the settings since only the channel owner can do so.
Mods should be able to adjust these settings.
There's probably also room for adjusting whether someone should be restricted/monitored or not. If they were banned a year ago, but have been an active community member in another stream since then, maybe don't alter their status in that stream. Maybe the more recent data should take precedent?

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I can un-restrict them. But, that's not the problem, though.
The problem is as a mod, I cannot change the setting for the streamer. The streamer is not technical, and doesn't understand how twitch mod settings work. That's why they have mods who are technical.
We do not want to link with any more channels because we do not want to have to keep un-restricting people who are regulars in our channel that may have been banned from one of our raids. Sometimes that happens.
Twitch needs to fix this.
Mods need access to the settings.

Sorry but if you click on the username while in the modview, they mini profile with the option what to do should show on screen. Can't you redo the restrictin from there?
Sure this shared ban info is totally f.up. Sharing info shouldn't apply the same mesaurement from other channels.
It is not an ideal solution but for the time being, won't it help?
Or doesn't it allow to do it at all?
Hope they fix it soon.
