Game Category bugs
Whenever I play a game then switch to a new category, it changes and even when I refresh the page it changes correctly, but when I go back and view the VOD, the category doesn't change at all but it does say there are different chapters. When I clip something, for example something in VALORANT, the clip says i'm playing ARK even though the chapter says it's the VALORANT chapter and the game category was changed to VALORANT.

The last time I streamed, I played SMITE on my PS4
Today, I tried to stream The Forest from my PS5
The twitch stream did not accept the title I entered when I opened the stream from my PS5.
Instead, it kept the last stream's title. It also kept the SMITE category. And when I tried to change it, it would not load. I typed The Forest, and literally all I got was that dumb loading symbol that went nowhere.
I then had to awkwardly navigate the site (really not user friendly in my opinion by the way - I can't get to my dashboard from certain points? The drop down navigation changes between pages) to get back to the video producer section, so I could delete the video with the incorrect information so that I don't get reported.

I encountered a similar situation when I was attending an event in Japan. The game category was Super Scribblenauts. I was in the exact same situation as you, the topic owner of the idea, and the other commenters, and even after repairing it, the game category reverted to not showing up (blank).
Many streamers know that it is possible to change the name of the game category using methods other than the steaming software, such as by entering commands with mod permissions. However, it is useless if it is undone.
I contacted twitch. As a result, I got an answer that the same problem exists in several games, and I was told to write a detailed report about the situation here. (And that's how I found this topic)To my surprise, it was a deep-rooted problem that has existed since June of 2020 (what a surprise!).
Thank you.

Hello there,
I have a similar problem with creating chapters.
The difference is, that Twitch does not set chapters in VODs.When I change categories, it shows the actual category live but there are no chapters on VOD.
Is there any solution?
Thank you.

When a Twitch Steamer is playing a game, his friends show up, he changes games. Then he will change the title.
PROBLEM, the people viewing the steam will see the old game title.IDEA - software should update the title in the app
Otherwise, every conversation goes something like this, "Just refresh. idk, refresh. Refresh it. Twitch won't refresh. Refresh please, changing." "Why are you still playing 12345?" "I'm not, refresh."
