How can we improve Channel Points?

Larger Channel Point Icons

Currently, the channel point redeem buttons require users to upload multiple sizes of image to the buttons, but it only actively uses the smallest uploaded image.

This feels like a possible bug, but in the event it is not, I do feel as a suggestion to properly use the space, make the buttons more readable to the viewer, and possibly even provide better context to the buttons purpose, filling up more space on the button with the uploaded emote would improve the user experience greatly.

Currently the emote used on each button is 28x28, my suggestion is to increase the size to 56x56. The buttons are currently 100x100 and have an empty space of over 30 pixels on all sizes of the emote we upload.

    It is so fun to see a big emote in chat as a reaction to something intense on stream. This would be amazing. Plus we have to make these anyways why not use them?

    It is honestly strange that you aren't even using the mid-size for the image. What is with all that negative space? Just use the mid sized image that you have, which we provide to you!! Please let me not squint anymore!

    PLEASE part of the reasons I haven't added custom points to my channel yet is I'm worried about what designs look good at the small size.

    Please do this! I spend a lot of time on each emote and most of the details are lost because it's so small.

    If images files for channel point redeem buttons are already being uploaded at multiple sizes, it makes sense to use the larger sizes. Others below have already mentioned accessibility needs, different devices.

    I think emote visibility in general would be a great help. It's not great even on desktop.

    It's very much a waste to have all that space and the icon be so so so small. Using the larger image rather than the smallest would be great.

    Strongly agreed, they need to be bigger! They are too hard to see even without visual impairment in my opinion - I can only imagine how hard it must be to see if one is visually impaired.
