Source/Reference links (similar to Wikipedia)
Often (if at all), users will enter a source or reference link in the Comments of an edit when this isn't something that can't be added to the existing Websites (news article, second Community Wiki, dev Twitter post, etc). This often gets lost or forgotten later when a new edit is added, becoming a back and forth.
If there could be a way to add something like the [#] links on datapoints to show the sources of an edit without having to look through years of changelogs. That would help greatly, both in review and transparency.

I very much second this suggestion!
I didn't provide any sources for my first contributions since there wasn't any obvious way of doing so.
Had there been an explicit source/reference field I would have put in the relevant links from the beginning. Then the admins wouldn't have to spend time commenting about missing information and so on.Just to be clear; I think it's great that the admins are quite strict about providing sources and references!
In the end it elevates the database's credibility and future usefulness.
