Artist Badge & Emote Attribution
To better support artists and accredit their talents among the Twitch community, we’ve released two new features: Emote Attribution and the Artist Badge. Emote Attribution lets you credit the artists responsible for creating your emotes so they can feel the love wherever their emotes appear across Twitch. The Artist Badge lets you celebrate those who contributed artwork to your community with a special new chat badge.
You can get all the details on our Help page here: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/artist-badge-attribution
We’re excited to share both of these features with the community, but they’re just the first steps to better connect creators and artists on Twitch. Your feedback will help us refine these products and better serve artists and the community as a whole!

I am restating what others have said on here, if an emote is attributed to an artist then that artist should be able to use that emote without being subbed.
1. As artists we can't be subbed to every channel we have done emotes for.
2. It is advertisement for that channel when we artists use those emotes around Twitch.
3. It takes extra steps to attribute an emote to an artist and that artist has to already have a Twitch themselves.
4. Not the artist badge because some channels use multiple people for their art/emotes. You should only get access to the emotes specifically attributed to you.
5. All around better support for the streamer (free advertisement of emotes) and for the artist (have "in the field" access to their portfolio)I don't see any downside to this being allowed.

Can artist attribution please be added also to subscriber badges?

I am stunned that artists don't have the ability to use their own emotes without subbing.... Don't you write yourself "To better support artists and accredit their talents"????

Um. Where is the emote card? I can't click emotes anymore.

I agree with the others. I make emotes to help the streamers I like. It would be great to get access to the emotes I created for them without the need to sub because I cannot be subbed to all of the channels unfortunately.

Artist badge is really a good thing! I do emotes, so I'm really happy about it.
But I think artists deserve to be able to use their own creations! -

To Echo what others have suggested
- There should be more than 5 artists badges per channel
- Emotes should be able to be credited to AT LEAST 2 artists- "Static Artist" and "Animator" or something like that
- Artists should be able to use that emote even if they are not subbed -

Attributing an emote to myself shouldn't require me to then also approve it. I didn't realize I had to approve it and had one of my emotes without attribution for 5 months before I noticed it said pending

I think if the artist has the badge then they should automatically have access to use them. If an artist has to sub to use the emotes they created then they are basically losing money for something they already created.

Artist attribution and badges is a fantastic feature, but particularly now that animated emotes are a thing, some emotes may have more than one artist that worked on them - for example, an artist and an animator.
Allow us to either simply add more than one artist to each emote - or even better, also label the type of attribution with a few pre-set labels - "main artist," "animator," "collaborator," "idea," "inspiration," and similar.
It's unfortunate and unrepresentative to have to choose between two excellent artists to represent when art and animation were done by two separate people.

While I appreciate the Attribution, it feels very weird to have to be subbed to a channel in order to use MY art/emote that I created. Pay money to use my creation.
But since I'm not a streamer (and therefore not Affiliate), I cannot even upload emotes to my own channel.

One of my artists brought it up and I see a few other people have mentioned it as well, but it would be cool if the emote artists did have access to the emotes they made across Twitch without having to be subbed to our channels. Helps give exposure for both the artists and our channels with them using their created emotes in chat as they please.

Loving the new Artist Badge but why is it stuck with gift sub/bit badges etc as a choice? Surely appreciating and thanking a channel's artists warrants this badge being BEFORE sub badges, like VIPs and Moderators. We should be proud of our artists.

A lot of larger streamers, and sometimes even smaller ones, will likely have far more than just 5 artists contributing to their channel. The limit needs to be upped significantly, or at least have a way for broadcasters to acquire more similar to how additional VIP badge slots are given.

There isn't a way to remove an Artist badge from a user that deactivated their account. The Role Manager page doesn't show the user yet they still hold one of the 5 badge slots. Not sure if this would fix, but consider adding chat commands similar to /vip and /unvip in order to add and remove artist badges from users.

I have 5 artists and i'm a cam streamer, I can't imagine how vtubers must feel having to figure out which artists get the badge and which dont! Please increase the number of people who can have this badge!

Many streamer have alot of artists that contribute to their channel. Especially VTubers. While the artist badge is nice. The limited number is a bummer

For may streamers that have many art assets, such as Vtubers, having only 5 artist badges is nowhere near enough. Many streamers can have upwards or 15 or 20 people who have created or worked on various assets, models, etc. for the streamer. Can we please have an increase in the number of artist badges available to us as streamers. I'm not sure why this would need to be limited to 5. Thanks!

man kann nun den künstler als rolle verteilen... wenn man selber der künstler ist kann man sich die rolle allerdings bisher nicht zuteilen, das sollte man ändern.
