I'm a 58 year-old disabled man and I'm new to streaming and I got it to broadcast live once but I can't seem to get it to your daughter will I guess a suggestion that I have is being I'm new to this and disabled there wasn't more help in understanding how to get going and getting it up and running

Increase spacing between edit box and bits button to allow editing messages The editable portion of the chat box contains not just the edit area but a bits button and an emote button. Typing on mobile can be tough and often I want to edit my message before posting to fix typos. After making edits in the middle of the message I often want to go to the end of the message and fix the last word or add something to the message.
The problem? It's very difficult, even if using a stylus, to get the edit caret to the end of the text because the bits button is there.

Personalized colors/themes Since the new color design I find it really hard to focus (lurking and following my streamers) The dark theme especially is so contrasted that make my eyes hurt, I ended up lurking without even watching the page. I wish there was a better way to setup colors in twitch (not using shades or other addons for various browsers) or even have the option to revert to the old color theme!
these things should matter more for viewers which make Twitch what it is, streamers won't be affected in any way!3 votes -
High contrast chat theme for users/streamers with visual impairments As a streamer & frequent twitch user, I used to love BTTV's black chat that was pure black background with bolder text, until they remove it. My idea is something similar to that, so I and others who used it could have an easier time reading chat.

sort/filter dropdown on any Twitch Browse page The sort/filter dropdown on the Browse page (where you can sort by "Recommended" or "High to Low Viewers").
I would like Twitch to reconsider its default setting to : High to Low Viewers
Sorting by "Recommended" vs. "High to Low Viewers" can significantly affect what content gets discovered, and changing the default could have a big impact on the browsing experience.
As well as tremendously help out new streamers.

Allow certain VoIP phone numbers for account security Currently, the Twitch platform advises that I provide a phone number to increase the security of my account, but the platform doesn't support VoIP numbers. The only phone number I have access to is a VoIP number. While not all VoIP services support receiving SMS verification/authorization messages, the one I use does. I understand the concern regarding allowing accounts to use VoIP numbers, including their adoption by bots and bad-actor accounts, but I also believe there are certain instances where their use should be permitted. soundalert volume You need to add a setting to decrease sound alert volume or a volume limiter because some people have really loud sound alerts which harms the ears of consumers.

Built-in Automatic Live Captions for All Streams – Accessibility in 2026 There have already been requests for automatic live captions on Twitch dating back to 2022 and 2023. However, deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers still frequently encounter streams without captions because caption availability often depends on the individual streamer setting them up.

the stream running time, found in-between viewer count and share The broadcast running time found under the video player needs to adjust depending on the content.
Normal everyday people streaming on twitch, the timer should count up.
Games showcase and news from the established ips the timer should countdown, because we know the duration of the video.
For esports and others like, the timer should be invisible.

Make other people's watch streak visible when you click their name in chat Since watch streaks are now fully integrated into the plattform for everybody with channel points enabled, it would be nice to have the ability to see other's watch streak without having to wait for them to redeem it every 5 streams, kinda how you can see how many badges someone has when you click their name. It would only show the streak that person has on the stream you clikced their name. If the streamer hasn't enabled channel points, it could show a funny message or just don't show up at all.

new method to organize the sidebar Hi,
I have a small suggestion for improving the use of the sidebar that shows which streamers you follow are currently live. It would be great if the order could also be changed from few viewers to many viewers. Also it would be very nice to have a list for my favorite channels.2 votes -
Sound volume/mute control over 3 different streamer input/user output This might be hard to implement but I've never seen such thing in any other platform, and if twitch implements this technology I think its a big leap for all streaming platform.
Issue: There are three different sounds when it comes to streaming.
1- streamer voice (speech)
2- game sound

This started as I wanted to search the DJs category by specific stream times (schedule) but that doesn't exist.
As an SEARCH example:
Day - Wed.
Time Start - 7 PM (this would auto convert to viewers time)
Time End -
Genre - (note You should have PRE specified Main Genre Tags for DJs.
IE: Pop,Rock,Rap,Breakbeat,Industrial,House,Techno,Trance,DNB etc
This will make search more streamlined.
Tag Search - search the user created tags to refine the above categories
so if your stream is a DNB stream you could add the styles you

Have built in TTS for streamers to use, for those who might not be able to speak easily/clearly TTS for Streamers to send out using an official Twitch extension/panel, but I mean in the way where they can type messages that get read out to viewers in a clear way

Add Custom Followed Channel Alias Allow users to add their own Alias for Channels they follow.
When you follow new people, it would be good to have the option to add my own custom alias for YOUR reference, so you remember who they are. Eg. "Coffee Brewer" "Cooking Comp" "Charity Guy"...etc.I often follow channels then don't recognize their name a week later. Adding an Alias will jog our memory as to who they were, what they do, or how you met.

color blind options for all users regardless of website, app, etc. including options for achromatopsia Color blind option variety for the website, and all apps (including phone, console, etc.) I have Achromatopsia and it would a big benefit for other possible users to have something that does not blend everything together.
Achromatopsia is colorblindness to the extreme, no color, basically what others would call grey scale eye sight, I have it, and a lot of websites including Twitch make it hard to navigate with some things that blend together. I have problems with the purple and other colors clashing causing me to either not see words, or other things.
