OBS plugin for live captioner to allow higher accuracy closed captions OBS plugin that a live captioner could use - currently it doesn't seem there is any captioner-compatible software to use with OBS/Atem - this would mean higher accuracy captions for live broadcasts as currently accuracy isn't so great and also cuts out.

Remove the "Come here often" pop-up Some people enjoy watching streams of games they enjoy/have an interest in purchasing but don't want to follow that specific channel (for whatever reason).
However, there's a certain little pop-up that covers the bottom portion of the stream, pointing at the follow button, that says "Come here often? Come back to [insert Streamers name here] channel FASTER by hitting that follow button" (with a bunch of hands pointing down at the follow button like we can't see it).See, some of us just want to watch a stream, chill out and not feel pressured to follow/sub/whatever and I wouldn't have…

Loud Sounds Loud sounds with streamer store is hurting my, and probaly, others hearing
Beeing someone who watchs streams all day long while using PC, I need to report that some streamers are using the Stream Store in chat to sell audios and sounds with external app linked to the chat store.
I liked the Idea, but now I can watch some streams with this feature, because they are using rocket, fireworks and some loud sounds, this is hurting my hearing, so I NEED to close the stream I was watching and search for another one. I dont want to remove store…3 votes -

Increase spacing between edit box and bits button to allow editing messages The editable portion of the chat box contains not just the edit area but a bits button and an emote button. Typing on mobile can be tough and often I want to edit my message before posting to fix typos. After making edits in the middle of the message I often want to go to the end of the message and fix the last word or add something to the message.
The problem? It's very difficult, even if using a stylus, to get the edit caret to the end of the text because the bits button is there.
Since mobile…

Option to play a sound when a streamer goes live Sometimes a streamer announces a specific time when they will go online and do something special (an event, an announcement, etc.). It would be cool if I could get a small sound alert when that streamer goes online so I can in the meantime play some game or do other stuff while waiting and don't have to watch the clock all the time.

Ensure that rules around being asleep on stream are not discriminatory As someone with a condition similar to Narcolepsy I am potentially subject to sleep attacks - without notable warning.
As far as i am aware, the current ToS would result in me being potentially banned should i have a sleep attack while streaming and not have a Mod in chat at that precise moment.
I am currently a small streamer (and while that reduces the likelihood of me being reported for 'unattended chat while streamer sleeps' it doesn't eliminate it - and that may change over time), and as such it is not always possible to have a mod lurking…

Accessibility option (turn off auto play on all of the site) for people with photosensitive your seizure warning is pointless if streams play automatically on almost every page, a person can't even navigate to it with out taking a risk. Auto play of random streams increases the risk and make navigating the site a minefield, if it could be turned off people would be able to take their safety into their own hand and make choice about what they are able to watch.

Accessibility: Enable filtering out Badges, Sub-Time, and Emote text for screen readers Hi Twitch! Screen reader users should be able to read and participate actively in chat like everyone else. However, translating chat into an audio signal is really tedious at this moment, because visual elements like all badges incl. subscriber-time of sub badges, and emotes cannot be filtered out.
Especially when a lot of hype is happening in chat, emotes can become very overbearing when read out one by one. Therefore, I'd like to request a feature with which those visual elements and emote text can be filtered out, leaving the username and chat text only for translation into an audio…676 votes -
To be able to filter channels followed by "Last seen live" in reverse. To be able to filter channels followed by "Last seen live" in reverse to allow for filtering of possibly inactive channels.
This would help users at the 2,000 followed channels cap easily find who to unfollow to maintain a more active followed channels list.

Accessibility Warning tags for Games. Accessibility is very important to not only me but also my stream and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. It would be amazing if we can get some warning tags for things from Epilepsy to Colorblind viewers. This would not only warn our viewers but can also save a life. The worst thing we want as streamers is to hurt our viewers and have no control over it. These tags and be pre implemented or something we can add given game reviews. These tags can vary and even help those with mental health with warning tags…

Deaf Accessibility Issue Hello,
My deaf friend and I have a helpful idea for deaf twitch users. We think deaf users should have a deaf badge to let everyone know that we are deaf. Streamers and viewers will know we are deaf and other people are deaf too. I don’t have to type I’m deaf like 3-5 times. My username looks like normal as everyone else and they will quickly know my ears are actually broken. My username is MadFlyTTV_SiN. I am a deaf streamer and a viewer too. I have had difficult time to reach some streamers who dint know that I…

Choosing between HTML and plain text emails Providing plain text emails is an important aspect of user accessibility. They're easier to look at and less error-prone to assistive technologies.
It also plays a role in respecting user privacy.6 votes -
mute button The mute button is discriminatory against people who can't speak. There are more than 1 million people who are mute. Calling the button as that term not only reduces their suffering to a button of convenience but also equates them to being worth nothing. Please change the name to '0 volume' or 'no volume'.

CVAA compliance Twitch needs to be compliant with CVAA, plus adding text to speech functionality inside of chat and compatibility with screen readers.

Closed Captioning and Swearing I've noticed that closed captioning automatically filters swearing. To be honest, this is less than ideal. It assumes your hard of hearing and hearing impaired users need to have language filtered for them, to a standard which non-hearing impaired users don't. An important part is all language translated accurately as possible, otherwise you are directly deciding what language is more important for the disabled client. If a person wants to engage with streamers that swear it should be their choice whether or not they want to see that content, not chosen for them.
Please note: How to handle slurs within…

Customizable colors to highlight chatter/follower usernames My eyesight sucks and I have ADHD and dyslexia, so reading chat is already hard. I have my second monitor set to 200% text scaling just to be able to read it while streaming.
There’s been so many times I’ve missed that different people have chatted because their usernames “blend in” - ie, for whatever reason a lot of people have their names set to that “dingy” teal which doesn’t contrast well. Add lowercase long-ish usernames, and I’m really slowing down to keep track of who’s who. Same for raids, when a bunch of unfamiliar usernames come blazing into chat.
