Please don't use wristbands at TwitchCon San Diego Many people have been noticing the strange inclusion of "wristbands" replacing the word badge. Please use badges like previous years as wristbands are not a good replacement for badges. Some people (especially some with disabilities) are incapable of wearing a wristband for an extended period of time.
Wristbands also remove the aspect of personalization which is often a key feature of one's con enjoyment. People want to decorate their badges with stickers, badge tags, and autographs. They also might not work well with cosplay changes that could accidentally cover wristbands during wardrobe changes.
Badges are also better safety tool in…

Twitch Con: Seperate badge for full facemask cosplayers/streamers? Twitch Con: Seperate badge for full facemask cosplayers/streamers?
There are a lot of cosplayers and streamers that use full face masks or face paint while they stream, and under current TwitchCon rules, would not be allowed to attend.
This makes it difficult to network and expand our streams at live events because no one will recognize us.
I'm an introvert and have a hard time talking to people in person, but while in my full costumed Twitch persona, I have no problem being personable and entertaining.
I understand the security concerns about face masks, but I feel in the post…

Discord chat for twitch con Ok so I have a discord I made for twitch con San Diego 2022, and would like to make it become an official discord of twitch cons and be promoted by twitch, if they are ok with that, I’m not looking for any recognition on having the discord and operating it, I would just like to bring the twitch community back as a whole and have a discord for those who are going. I can look into the ability to set up auto roles for those who are partners, affiliates, staff, etc.

Surprise a Twitch Partner as a new Twitch Ambassador, LIVE at TwitchCon! For the past few years of TwitchCon, I've always enjoyed seeing the tradition of Twitch Affiliates being surprised and becoming our newest band of Twitch Partners. As the Twitch Ambassador program is so small and tight-knit, what if Twitch could also surprise a current Twitch Partner as a brand new Twitch Ambassador? I think that would be amazing to do at the opening and closing ceremonies!

Make a BASEBALL DUNK TANK for the BEANBOOZLE flavor creators. Great advertising for beanboozles, and those guys who made the **** and dishwasher flavored beans... let us dunk them in a tank of lava... i mean water.

Move Kappa Cabana inside, to Park Pavilion!! Music is one of the most tightly-knit category communities on Twitch, and our content all but DEMANDS collaboration and mingling- why is it still relegated to the outside- with no shade, on a rickety little stage next to the food court?
Put us inside where the audience won't need to choose between safety from the sun, or supporting their faves during their (probably once ever) kappa concert slot!! Let us try and reach passers-by who arent miserable, sunburnt and only half able to see or hear. Put us in the park.6 votes -
Smaller scale TwitchCon in small cities In the United States, I would love smaller scale TwitchCons at any time of year in smaller cities across the country

TwitchCon Denver? I want to propose Denver, CO, as a site for TwitchCon.
The Colorado Convention Center would be an ideal location. If timely booked, Twitch would be able to take full advantage of its space and other amenities and features.
Attendees would enjoy access to many restaurants and services within the Denver metro area. Some are accessible through the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) bus and light rail system. Attendees may also be interested in accessing landmarks within the state, such as the Garden of the Gods park, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
In recent years, Denver has…

Suggestion for reducing suspicious TwitchCon attendees Part of the background check to enter TwitchCon needs to include platform ban history. There were 29 people that attended San Diego 2025 with 5 or more bans on file and 12 that had at least 2 the same year. Most users and streamers never get more than one ban, so barring those with 2 bans that year or 5 total on file should significantly reduce the chances of harassment or tainted gifts. Plus, everyone entering needs to be checked, +1 attendees shouldn't be exempt just because the main attendee cleared. And if any of the headlining streamers with a…

Please be more thorough and educate/inform your staff Hi, my first and only twitchcon was this past year in vegas 2023, and while it was very fun, too many parts were putting people at risk or leading them on wild goose chases.
I would greatly appreciate if you would be willing to read this post about my experiences in its entirety. ♥
.
To start off, there was actively no seating or shade provided to attendees during badge pickup on thursday (and from what i saw, also on the actual convention days) - this is a problem because I was nearly having an emergency because I was overheating,…4 votes -
Do NOT have a mask mandate It’s been 4 years now. People have taken every shot available and still have gotten COVID. People who religiously mask up with N95s have still gotten COVID. Howard Stern, who hid in his house for 4 years finally got COVID. If your immune system is compromised, you should heed your doctors advice to stay away from large gatherings. Personal safety is personal responsibility. If you want to “feel” safe, you can make the choice to mask up.

Promote It Good Morning! I'm an avid twitch watcher and rare streamer, living in San Diego. I wish you guys would have promoted or advertised Twitch Con on your own platform, there has been ZERO mention of it on my end. It wasn't until the day of the con, that I learned for the very first time that Twitch Con was in my town. I feel like the promo team completely dropped the ball on this. At least on my end, I never once received a single notification, ad, message, email, anything promoting the con or where it was going to be.…

General Comment about twitch con employees I dont know where to put this. but im not one for making Complaints I would love to see a place to post positive feed back.
Im at the Con right now and I wanted to mention Tina Smith who said she works for a company called 24/7? she was SO incredibly kind to me and made me feel SO comfortable. I have the accessibility badge and I do not look like someone that would have it. I have been wearing a body brace/compression outfit under my clothes for a surgery/issue i had and she didnt ask any questions when…4 votes -
Enforce Additional "Press Clearance" in order to live stream at twitchcon There were a lot of nuisance streamers pestering people at twitchcon this year (2025). There were several areas designated as "No streaming", but it wasn't enough(especially since people were streaming in those areas anyway).
I understand you wish to give people the freedom to stream the excitement, but applying extra clearance of giving a more rigorous check to people who want to stream at the event could help quell the numbers of people intending to harass and cause discomfort to the rest of the con-goers. Please consider either giving an additional round of information needed after getting your name badge…3 votes -
Stop Security from Forcing attendees to remove their masks Each time entering the convention hall, there were always a line of aggressive and rude security guards yelling at people to take their covid protection masks off. Sometimes they asked 3+ times in ONE sitting to keep removing your mask and showing your face, because 2-3 guards had to see your face when entering. Depending on the guard, just pulling it down under your jaw and down to your neck wasn't enough, they wanted it fully off, which for those in cosplays with wigs and ears, pulling the full head banded mask meant undoing all of that and the inconvenience…

Streamers must apply to be able to stream at TwitchCon There were way too many people with insanely complicated setups literally just causing a scene and harassing streamers and those trying to enjoy their time at the convention. Having people apply and be vetted to know that their content is appropriate and not just being a social disturbance would have helped my experience.

Wristbands are horrible Please don’t require wristbands in the future. Having to wear a fabric wrist band for multiple days straight is uncomfortable and it gets dirty.
