Please don't use wristbands at TwitchCon San Diego
Many people have been noticing the strange inclusion of "wristbands" replacing the word badge. Please use badges like previous years as wristbands are not a good replacement for badges. Some people (especially some with disabilities) are incapable of wearing a wristband for an extended period of time.
Wristbands also remove the aspect of personalization which is often a key feature of one's con enjoyment. People want to decorate their badges with stickers, badge tags, and autographs. They also might not work well with cosplay changes that could accidentally cover wristbands during wardrobe changes.
Badges are also better safety tool in general. They're recognizable at a distance. They also allow for people to recognize each other more easily with the username being printed on, allowing them to find friends that they weren't aware of attending the con.
Please, Twitch, don't change this. It removes a lot of the personal joy of TwitchCon and one of the things that has made it special for repeat attendees.
