It would be nice if backgrounds could be animated GIFs. I have several animated GIF background images I'd like to use for my channel, but they don't animate when used in Studio. Would be nice if they did.

Hide cursor The ability to hide the cursor would be greatly appreciated. If this can be developed to work independently in different scenes it would be even better. For example, when playing Warcraft I'd like to hide the cursor, but would it visible in Stream Raiders.
It may be an option I just haven't found yet in all fairness. If so, great, how do I do it? :)24 votes -
For me it uses too much cpu I tried out studio beta and it takes up more resources than other broadcasting services like obs and streamlabs obs. The interface is simple and great for anyone starting up but it took from 30-60 FPS at any given time ( I normally average 150fps in lol but with that on I got 70~ where with streamlabs I don’t drop much). Twitch studio has potential and since it’s run by twitch it can have its advantages on the site itself like custom encodings for less latency than other services or an intro to custom themes with a twitch exclusive animated…

Alert Editor Update - Amazing so far, but a few tweeks could help even more :) The option to separate the alerts during editing, so that different alerts can come up in different areas of the screen, while also keeping the current editing option for those that need all of their alerts editing in one place! Especially as I also would like to keep some alerts up for longer than others.
Also,it would be good to have a border around my alert that shows up once the alert happens; not a border that stays on my screen permanently, whether an alert is taking place or not. As well as the option to animate the alerts too!

Webcam Delay Since streaming with external capture cards is a thing and delaying your audio is also a thing, I think we need a webcam delay feature so that we can sync our delayed audio with our webcams so that everything is synced with the game etc.

Stream with a Stream key / Dashboard access As a streamer who streams either on his personal channel and on a WebTV, it could be nice that we could chose which channel we could stream at with Twitch Studio (as they gave me access to the Dashboard, a dropdown menu saying which channel I want to stream to).
It could be nice too if this supports alerts on the concerned Twitch channel, so I would be able to stream with Twitch Studio without asking for access to the account.

A way to test stream before debuting I can't seem to find any way to test stream before debuting. I know OBS has this feature but OBS is also more confusing to figure out compared to Twitch Studio.

Full Screen Source Monitoring I would like to be able to select a source such as a capture card (i.e. Elgato HD60) and be able to view this in full screen without overlays on a separate monitor.

Disconnect webcam when not visible/in use If I'm in a scene that doesn't have a webcam layer or if I hide my webcam layer, it'd be nice if TS would disconnect from the webcam so it can turn off and/or be used by a different program.

Select which audio sources to monitor/listen to via headphones In the Audio Mixer there is a button to "Listen" to your audio, but for me it only routes the "Primary Microphone" trough to my headphones. This is useful to monitor my voice, which is my primary input source, but as I use a capture card for the gameplay, I would love be able to monitor that as well to level it properly!

More wallpapers and patterns. I really like the wallpapers and patterns that come with Twitch Studio. I'd like to see more to really personalize my experience.

Streaming to alternate platforms Yes, I know streaming to Twitch is the one of the main goals of this program. But streaming to the competitors would be great for someone trying to record a video for YouTube or on Mixer

See viewers names as they enter It'd be nice if we could see the name of our viewers as they watch the stream. It would make it easier to greet people/ welcome them even if they are not in chat. I think it would help me interact with my audience as I slowly grow on twitch.

Multi-track audio in recordings When streaming with multiple audio inputs each of those audio tracks should be saved separately in the stream recording. This would allow me to take a stream recording, remove my mic track, and preserve game sound. MKV file container would be ideal.
