Toggle Layout Switch with a Transition Delay Slider option
Push to Toggle a Transition Delay. This would allow you to press a hotkey and change to another screen and release of this hotkey would go back to your original Layer.
ex.) Main -> depress 'g' Map Cover -> un-press 'g' return to Main.
The delay would be used to make it less jarring to watch.
