I'm seeing ads on streams that I am subscribed to. I'm running Brave, and can't turn off ad-blocking unless I turn it off in the browser and them manage it with an additional extension. Your help article tells me that I should disable it to stop ads on streams I am subscribed to.
This is a sub-optimal solution, at best, for a browser that is a fork of Chrome. Consider supporting Brave such that users don't have to see ads for streams they are already subscribed to, without having to wrestle with their browser.

Fix your platform Your mobile app will be frozen on a single image, take multiple minute to load, play 3 seconds of the stream, then play a full volume ad, then go back to buffer for minutes, and repeat. Please fix this, YouTube streaming is better than this.
Also, getting a Picture in Picture ad followed by fullscreen ads made me literally turn off twitch. Because it was so irritating, it completely ruined the experience of watching the streamer.4 votesHello!

As a note some channels do not have ads free viewing for subscribers.

Ads loading over and over again during a recent video playback Everytime I try to watch a recent video of a streamer I am not subscribed to the ads just buffer and buffer and reload over and over again.
Its supposed to be 1 or 2 30 sec ads and it turns into a 5 minute ordeal everytime.

subscriber watching ads So I am a subscriber on a the channel called Ralisco, and I am constantly getting ads on the stream, and I think that is not supposed to be a thing. I tryed to gift subs and it didn't work, tryed to sub with the prime and didn't work. I pay the subs so i don't have to watch ads, but that it is not the case, don't think i will keep subbing until you fix this.

I am a teir 3 Sub and I get ads I am a teir three sub for one of the streamers I watch and a teir one sub for a different streamer, I pay to NOT have ads pop up, and yet ALL this month I had gotten ADS!!! Please someone FIX THIS! I am very frustrated with this bug.

Twitch Turbo is Broken Turbo is not working on Chrome whatsoever, receiving all forms of ads. However on an iOS device it is working.

I was spammed with ads to channels I have a sub with Yesterday I was spammed with ads for no reason at all, even to channels I have a sub with. I don't know how it all started but I figured some stuff out. Last night I was listening to twitch on my phone. Not a single ad all night. This morning I opened up the Brave browser to watch twitch and was spammed with ads again on every channel. Even on channels I have a sub with. Only channels that are affiliate or partner will have ads for their channel. Anyone who is not apart of those programs will not have ads on their channel.

This definitely seems like something you need to reach out to Twitch Support to investigate. Unless the streamer is running ads themselves, you should not be seeing ads on a stream you have a subscription for. Please reach out to our team via https://link.twitch.tv/GetSupport.

Not allow ads when you're subbed to someone its 2023 and this has happened in the past this is unfair Why is it I get an ad when watching subbed to streamers? This has been happening in multiple streams and its getting irritation that I am missing out on stream when something important happens.

Generally, ads should not show on streams you are subbed to, unless the Creator does not have "Ad-Free viewing" setting enabled. Although, there can be the occasional bug, and in this case, we recommend reaching out to our support team via https://link.twitch.tv/GetSupport. Thank you.

Nearly November 2022 and subs are still seeing ads I have no extension on my browser and I get ads even when I am subbed for 23 months continuously. Makes no sense how it is tough to figure out who is a sub and who is not and then direct ads to non-subs.

ADS Play when they shouldn't Stop PLaying ADS to me when I donate to streamers already. I don't care about your ad revenue, I already sent money to the streamers which you took a portion of.
