Revert the "Gift sub badge has expired" notification
The gift sub badge expiring and the notification that pops up every time that you enter a stream where your gifts have expired, feels predatory. Gifting subs should be a voluntary act to support the streamer/community, not something that Twitch should be pressuring users into doing because they're losing the ability to show that they've been generous in the past.
I appreciate the fact that Twitch is a business that needs to make money, but hitting people with notifications that tell them that they aren't spending enough money is detrimental to people who may spend compulsively, and those who suffer with FOMO. If I've gifted X number of subs in a channel, that doesn't changed based on whether those subs are active or not. The badge shouldn't be taken away, let alone having us badgered by the pushy popup telling us that we're not throwing enough money at Twitch.
The fact that the notification pops up whenever I even so much as refresh the page, rather than even just a single occurrence per stream is far too in your face. The fact that we're being blasted with these notifications that we're not spending enough money feels predatory, especially considering that it was introduced around the holidays, when people will be spending their money elsewhere anyway.
For clarity, like the title says, I'd like the notification popup that comes up whenever you have no active gift subs in a channel to be removed, as a viewer. Or at the least, as a streamer to have the ability to shut it off.
Edited for clarity.
