Perpetual Subscription Packages to help save Twitch
Twitch,
I would like to introduce the concept of perpetual subscription packages. This is a package of stem cell subscriptions that by themselves do not expire and can be applied on the spot as the user desires. Where applied, it gives the user a 30 day subscription to the selected channel that automatically expires on the renewal date. The user will have to manually subscribe again to that channel on the date of expiration. The purchased package renews every 30 days from the purchase date and increases the count of "boost" subscriptions registered to the user's account. This accessibility wants to be a guilt free way for users to release and re-assign their subscriptions month-to-month—and fairly spread the love around between all their favorite streamers. These packages are intended to be sold at a multi-purchase discount (per the price of multiple month subscriptions) to boost the purchase appeal of the "boost" subscription packages, and capture sales that would not be captured otherwise (especially as subscription costs rise). This wants help provide sustainability of subscription volumes, while Twitch production costs rise, by bringing the price of subscriptions back down through a bulk sale; alongside the appeal power of versatility, in the stem cell application for these "boost" subscriptions. This sees that Twitch retains its current sales schematic, while only helping to encourage a broader (or sustained) investment from users with this new and dynamic medium.
