Twitch Monthly Subscription Service
Similar to another post, but more fleshed out.
The problem
I support many creators with monthly subs, but as a person with limited budget, it's so hard to plan finances with little amounts of £3.99 coming out throughout the month and often leads to going overdrawn on the one of my accounts I use. It also causes a lot of emails throughout the month for each subscription, telling me it is about to renew.
My Solution
I would suggest a user-nominated day when payment for all upcoming subscriptions, that month, would be taken (in advance of the renewal day).
If you choose to sub to someone new, that payment is immediate from your bank, and then future payments are taken on the "nominated day".
This would also allow twitch to, instead of bombarding people with multiple emails throughout the month, about subscriptions about to renew, to only send one email in the month. This would be a list of the creators and payments which make up the total payment.
Cancellation
If you cancel a subscription before the ACTUAL resub day, but after it has been taken in the monthly payment, you receive it back by way of a discount on next months monthly payment.
So for instance, the viewer has 3 subscriptions with various re-sub dates:
A Sub to "KillaWhat?123" renews as £3.99 on the 5th
A Sub to "Kyle123_Gamer" renews as £3.99 on the 19th
A Sub to "GammyFaceFran" renews as £3.99 on the 22nd
The viewer has chosen the 1st of the month as their payment date, in line with when their real life job pay check comes in. Thus £11.97 is paid to twitch on the 1st of the month, for all subs coming up in that month.
The viewer then finds a cool new streamer "TheBitcoinBaron" and decides to subscribe to them from today (8th Nov 22). The first payment would be made immediately. The next payment would then be taken 1st Dec 22 and the new amount would be £15.96.
The viewer would also get an email 5 days before showing all the subscriptions about to renew listed. This can be useful if someone decides to stop subscribing to someone.
