How is this not added, what is the reason that this is not a feature already. Great Feature.

I would like the streamer and the person i send a gift to to know why I sent it. This helps the streamer create content by commenting on the gift sub. I would also like to say 'hey it's great to see you join in the chat' or 'here, no more ads for you friend' etc.

Using only Bits for messages severely disadvantages certain nations across the world, like Australia, as their prices are much much higher. Allowing messages through gifted subs, evens the playing field, and allows for more people to give messages to the streamer along with a little gift.

Adding a message when I gift subs to a channel would be nice. It would be lovely to give the streamer and community a message of support.

This makes the subs more friendly and engaging for the users! Is a nice ideea!

I give out alot of subs. occasioanlly at highher tier levels that get skipped over even though extra support for the streamer i am providing. BE nice if it was noticed.

Gift sub messages seem appropriate. 5x gifted subs is common, and 5x the "value" of a regular recurring sub. They should both offer similar rewards / benefit. Gifted subs should allow a message.

Would add to the experience of gifting and receiving subs and show the community what gifts were gifted

When a gifted sub is added it would be great to be able to say why we would like to give that gift and let the Streamer/Chat know.

Its valuable to have a better feedback on what is happening without have to relying on be able to read it on chat

I agree. Gifting subs and subscribing youself are very similar actions and it does not make sense to not have a message option for gifting. We would really appreciate if this was finally changed.

Honestly, knowing who gave what type, it would improve user feed back because someone giving 50 t1 subs is great but 50 t3 subs is like oh my freaking god

Due to regional pricing at some countries gifting subs is a more valid option than buying bits. Looking at you Australia. An attached message is an important part as many channels use it for TTS communication with the streamer.
