I'M ******* SICK OF IT!!!! FIX THIS **** ALREADY!!! HOW ABOUT THIS IDEA?!

It's MADDENING that Twitch FORCES me to open a sodding email every time I want to log in. I hardly ever log in, EXACTLY BECAUSE OF THIS. And because of this, when I do log in, I want to make the visit as short as possible.
Can't stand using Twitch, and it's all because of this!
Sort out your service offering please Twitch, otherwise I might as well just delete my account altogether.

I disabled 2FA on purpose. It still makes me type in an email code every single time.
I DO NOT CARE IF SOMEONE STEALS MY TWITCH ACCOUNT. THIS IS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO WASTE MY TIME ON.

is 2024 now we can remove this annoying 6 numbers every login time ?

I don't care if some gets a hold of my twitch password. This account has no value to me other then keeping track of who I follow. Requiring me to enter a code sent to my email serves no purpose other then to annoy me.

Absolutely insulting that this can't be turned off.

****Recently fixed this problem by removing my chrome extension ad blocker, may be a solution if you use it as well.****
A viable ad blocker that wont cause this issue is 'uBlock Origin'

I agree. This whole email verification is ridiculous! I don't have 2FA on -- by choice, yet everytime I log into Twitch I have to then go log into my email just to verify. Often, I'm not on my PC/Laptop or near my email - so this forces me to log into email from the web. Everyone should be able to choose their form of verification, and if they want it at all. Twitch needs to stop doing this.

spaghetti code incarnate that they cant read their own cookies on your browser to see it isn't a new device

Stop that bull**** of having to enter a code send by email every f***ing time I log in! It's annoying AF and the reason why I only log in twitch 5 times a year max!!! If I wanted 2FA I would activate it in the settings but it's not on!!

It’s infuriating that this can’t be turned off. It always says I’m on a new device. That is incorrect and I’m tired of tracking down junk mail just to log into my account.

In your browser settings uncheck delete cookies when closing browser. This means you have to keep everything, all the **** from other sites. So its damned if you do and damned if you don't. Its the only way to avoid the dreaded code email!!

Yes, please. It seems this is a continued ask among the user base. I don't have 2FA enabled so why am I asked to verify a code via email for every login? That's 2FA. I don't use private/incognito windows on Twitch, I don't clear my cache or cookies very often, I always use the same device, so why am I prompted to verify my account like I didn't just log in yesterday? Please disable this.

If I wanted 2FA, I would have enabled it, **** this stupid email verification non-sense, it's so stupid that when you want to leave a comment on a *live* stream and you don't realise you aren't signed in yet, you have to spend upwards of a minute signing in, or simply not be able to sign in if you have no immediate access to your email (e.g. if your email require 2FA and your phone is dead).

Why? I don't care about Twitch account security. Stop annoying me

I am hit by the same thing. I only surf in private windows, so no cookies are saved or even shared across tabs. And that's the problem. Twitch creates a cookie and your browser obviously doesn't save it (or it doesn't present it, the next time you open up Twitch). My idea is in the 2FA section, as the email code clearly IS a mandatory 2nd factor for login.
