What is annoying is 99% of it is worthless digital goods for freemium games, so these prime gaming notifications are JUST ads to get you to go into these casinos and hopefully waste your money BUT 1% is an actual full game that may have actual value and you might really want to add to your account. So just turning it off might mean I'm losing value.. makes more sense to just cancel Prime.

It makes me sick that I have PAID for Prime, but it still insists on telling me about every single loot item available. I mark them all as uninterested and it has the audacity to show an unread message, when I click it I am told to go and check the loot I have ignored!!
Not bothered bout how to get rid of it any more, cancelling my Prime instead.

You can already do that but with 3rd party apps like BTTV and FFZ.

It really is obnoxious to see the pointless little crown and it's latest number every time I visit Twitch. Especially since I don't go every day, so there's ALWAYS a number there and it's just useless to me. Like you said, I know what I'm interested in and free loot isn't it. I don't need discovery queues or suggestions or contests, it's just more junk on my HUD/UI that I wanna get rid of.

And seriously, the number of icons and badges and such on Twitch is already far more than it really needs to be. It's just pointless clutter now.
