Stop Code verification
Don't ask me at every login, for the **** verification Code !!!
I dont need an E-Mail for every login.
You will only receive a new device verification email if you are using a difference device, use incognito, frequently clear your cache. Otherwise, this is a security feature meant to keep your account safe. The only other option is to enable 2FA on your account.

Frfr this is so annoying, every, single, login, requires an email. What exactly is the point of using 2FA, when you force people to as a base? Without even closing my browser I've just logged in, been asked for a code; then logged out, back in, and was asked for a code again. It was less than a minute passed, I'm not clearing cache, using incognito, or even changing my browser. Your service is ******* up and this mod clearly couldn't care less. Doesn't your boss ask what you do with your time, tell them to fix this!

Seriously this is so annoying. No other account does this. My password is strong if people wanna make a bad password, let them learn the hard way but don't force these emails down the throats of every single user on the platform! Why does this company insist on making the worst possible updates imaginable it's like they barely think or care about what they're doing and how it's going to affect the end user.

I absolutely agree with the user. It is INSANELY ANNOYING to have to go on my email frequently just to login to check what's on to watch. Many times I just give up and open Youtube app instead.

I have security settings on the computer for a reason, and they have nothing to do with leisure activities. Twitch is leisure, until it becomes a stressful annoyance to be asked to go get another device to say that this device is ok.
Since I can't buy anything directly from twitch interface - it directs me to amazon, why not only require 2fa when a purchase is requested?
I hate 2fa for game related content. Completely a worthless endeavour. I have to get a 2fa for my email then a 2fa for my twitch. I don't want it. I often will decide not to log into twitch for this reason alone.
I preferred the twitch app on the pc because i did not have to do this every time I want to watch something, but Amazon discontinued it.

And the fact that this is an issue that is over two years old is ridiculous and the moderator is absolutely dismissive to the issue at hand and makes it VERY clear that she/they don't actually care or know what they are talking about or simple stupidity. Thanks for your useless response that is an obvious lie.

I don't even restart my computer and it requires me to grab a verification code from my email. it has required it when I had just closed the tab after trying to make a bot account for my chatbot. So, yeah it has required a verification code EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have logged in, and all on browsers and devices that I was logged into just minutes before.

This email code verification is so annoying...Make us choose to either disable it or keep it , every time that i log in it sends me a code...I dont want that feature and i want to use incognito

llbellylint commented
That's a lie, I get a verification SPAM every **** time I log into twitch, every freaking **** time, I don't need this level of security at ALL. Some people may need it and I have no problem if they do, I don't.

half of my browser cookie expire each time I restart computer (but half of cookie dont epxire). This make Twitch ask me 2FA EVERYtime i log in. Please allow us to disable it

This it terrible!

Also I don't clear my cache or cookies except for a few times a year. I don't use incognito. My phone remembers me and doesn't force me to verify every day, but my computer browser (Chrome) does. There is no reason Twitch needs to have me verifying my account with 2FA every time I login unless I opt into that, which I haven't.
-
cameo33 commented
Yes PLEASE update this. Basically, it is 2FA every time I log in, which I see is a feature you offer but I do not have enabled. If I did, would that be 3FA? It makes it so difficult to access Twitch and discourages me from watching.

are you gonna stop this ******* option? please allow us to decide if we want this feature or not!

Twitch: None of the other apps struggle with this. It's easier to log into my bank account. Get a clue or continue to lose users.

This is annoying beyond anything and completely useless. How about getting rid of this "feature" for everyone how doesnt have serious data connected to their account? (banking, paypal, ...)
-
papashankz commented
Yeah this "feature" auto logs me out of my account and then forces me to open my email just to be able to login to twitch, very annoying, no i did not clear anything or delete anything, not a new device either, seems like the people that work at twitch don't listen to their users problems. Too busy watching all those nude bikini models make money off kids.
