Android TV App is really bad

It stutters, won't play 1080p or 60fps, the interface is very slow and laggy. The app used to be very good, what happened. This web-interface-api-nonsense has to stop. It crashes or stops mid-stream, if the stream starts in the first place. On my PS5, at least the picture quality is good (1080 60p), but it is also unstable and stops streams that work on my phone. Make a native app again, like on my phone.

    It's terrible on Google TV, on PS5, and especially bad through Chromecast. Twitch is just letting YouTube coast with this one. Make the TV in Twitch.tv mean something.

    Same problem on my tv, TCL P735 4K tv. 1080p lags before eventually freezing. Changing to 720p is stable although the picture quality is very poor.

    Yes, I have noticed that issue with Twitch app on my (TOSHIBA_50LF621U19), Toshiba 4k Smart TV- Amazon Fire TV. I hope they fixed that issue soon.
