On the LG WebOS app, make it so the twitch chat does not disappear over a period of time without remote movement. Or give us a settingto pin

The chat closes after a period of time if there is no remote movement, which is frustrating when sitting and watching. Maybe leave the chat open permanently or give a setting to make it disappear over a period of time

    chat disapear happens way too fast to use burn in as an excuse. please just fix. no chat dim.

    Yes please and do not let the TV go to screensaver mode while watching a stream either.

    If anyone still cares, I reached out to Twitch (again) and received this answer:

    We appreciate your interest in our new LG app! Unfortunately, there may be some limited capability at this time. For example some features such as purchase, player quality options, chat (due to OLED burn protection), followed channel recommendations and VOD playback are not available at this time. While we cannot give you an exact eta on an update, we can say it’s coming in the near future! We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you as we continue to add new features and

    Yea, the message cut off there, idk. Near future? Man, this has been an issue for close to a year now...

    This has to be a bug, right? Chat disappears after about 5 minutes and a black rectangle stays in place where the chat is supposed to be.

    This happens not only with the WebOS App, but also in the Web Browser. I'd love to see a fix as I've stopped watching on my tv due to this.

    Please fix this. After the chat disappears the TV eventually goes into screensaver mode also. Very annoying.
