On the LG WebOS app, make it so the twitch chat does not disappear over a period of time without remote movement. Or give us a settingto pin
The chat closes after a period of time if there is no remote movement, which is frustrating when sitting and watching. Maybe leave the chat open permanently or give a setting to make it disappear over a period of time

On the 18th of november 2021, I was told this regarding the chat disappearing:
"We appreciate your interest in our new LG app! Unfortunately, there may be some limited capability at this time. For example some features such as purchase, player quality options, chat (due to OLED burn protection), followed channel recommendations and VOD playback are not available at this time. While we cannot give you an exact eta on an update, we can say it’s coming in the near future! We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you as we continue to add new features and"
No, it actually just ends abruptly after the "and".
I was told the fix would come in the near future. That is now 10 (TEN) months ago.
Pretty save to say now this will never get fixed.

2 years later, still same issue. Very annoying when trying to relax but also read chat at the same time.

it's not just the app, if you open up Twitch in the TVs web browser, the same thing happens

Please fix this.
Chat is half the twitch experience.
So why does it disappear after a minute? -

Can this PLEASED be fixed. It's very annoying touching my remote constantly to bring back chat. Chat is half the experience, especially when it comes to Finals etc.

I hate that not only the twitch app hides chat but the WebOs browser does the same...

I've been waiting as long as I've owned the TV for this fix -- and that's a couple years at this point.

It’s dumb decisions and ****** UX like this that cause people to create their own Twitch clients…

How is this still an issue after 2 years? I have to assume there is no intention of fixing. The chat shuts off quickly, then the whole screen will go dark. You can to constantly press buttons to keep everything visible. I don't know of any app that has this problem.
