1. Android App v21.9.1 - Usability has become horrible

   The list of followed channels is unusable for me in this way.
   It lacks the clarity of the old list (see also the Twitch.tv website). By old list I mean the list where only the stream name, its category and its current number of viewers are displayed (as on the website).
   What bothers me about the new view is the significantly slower speed, because the images take longer to load and I'm not interested in the tags and the current stream title at this point. I find this wealth of information unnecessarily inflates the list and also generates an unnecessary amount of additional data volume.
   I would have liked more information from the developers in the Google Play Store, because after all, what is the point of the ‘New functions’ section?
   I don't think it's good that the developers are forcing users to do something that they might not even want (the motto ‘Arbeit macht Frei’ (work makes you free) has only meant negative things in the past). In my opinion, app developers do not consider their users to be responsible fellow human beings and restrict their free choice with such updates.
   I would have much preferred to have been asked whether I wanted the list in short form or in detailed form. Why don't the developers leave it up to the users to decide which view they want to use?
   Another problem is that you can't undo such unwanted updates via the Google Play Store (analogous to a murder - if you're dead, you're dead, well, the dead man was unlucky).
   There are even general moments when I ask myself whether it still makes sense to use the Twitch Android app on a mobile phone or simply use the web browser with the Twitch website. How can you trust developers who usually only attract attention through negative changes?
   Unfortunately, I have now reached the point where I no longer allow automatic updates to be installed so that I can decide for myself as an intelligent person whether I have to go along with every change.

   For the Android app, I would like the user to have the choice of what the list should look like. From my point of view, the reintroduction of the button from before with the short list of links that appears would be sufficient. The new view can then remain. This would give the user the choice of which list to use.
   It does make a difference if I only see 5 entries on my display when there were previously around 20.
   Especially for Nadroid users with many followed channels, the new view is clearly a disadvantage compared to web browser users.
   This is my opinion and suggestion, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

3. Allow us to connect to Chromecast before viewing (Android app)

   I routinely use Chromecast to watch Twitch on the big screen (the Android TV version is unusable)

   On the iOS app you can immediately connect to Chromecast and then select your video.

   On the Android app you have to select the video first and then connect to Chromecast. This often means the user has to sit through an ad before they can connect to Chromecast.

   I have no problem with watching the ad, I'd be fine if it just played on the TV so I don't have to wait every time.

   Please just make it work like the iOS version as it's a real quality of life feature.

7. android keyboard

   Give an option on the Android App to either hide the keyboard after sending every message or to keep it up constantly. Currently, the keyboard on Android closes after sending every message which I do not like.

8. Delete the app from the play store for devices under Android 7

   Remove the Twitch Mobile app from the Google Play Store for devices with Android 7 and lower, so people can actually see that it's not supported anymore.

    I would love to see a notated feature for ( Timestamps & Calendar Day ) for twitch whispers that are Received or Sent to and from a recipient. That way the messages can be addressed properly if either user forgets to check the notification window.

14. Optimize clipping and clip organization

    Optimize clipping. Literally anything, even removing clipping entirely, would improve this.

    This is the current workflow for clipping on Android 10 app version 13.1.1:

    1. load the currently live streamer's homepage in twitch app by clicking on their name, not image icon.

    2. Close the live video by swiping down if it pops up. Make sure you've clicked on the livestreamer's name, not image icon.

    3. close the live video again, if necessary.

    4. go to video tab and scroll down to "most recent", then choose the first video, even if it doesn't seem to have the right post time or runtime.

    5. if it automatically starts playing the wrong video, cancel the autoplay and choose replay, or close the video and try again. It usually plays the correct video the second time.

    6. find the point you're trying to clip. Warning: clicking multiple times on the forward and back skip sections will increase the delay of the skip and add more time to the skip.

    7. wait until the whole section you want to clip has passed, then click the clip icon on the top of the video and edit, then click trim the clip to the desired length. There is such a significant and unpredictable delay between clicking clip and actually getting the clip that you WILL need to trim the clip. Note that there is less "wiggle room" on mobile than desktop and it may take a couple of tries to get the right section of the video. At this point you can still use the mobile device's back button, but "hangtime" will increase dramatically after doing so.

    8. after providing a title and clicking publish, you can just barely click "share" at the bottom of the now minimized video. Aim carefully.

    9. Copy/share the link using the device share menu as normal.

    10. If you want to make multiple clips, or watch the live stream, exit the twitch app entirely and start from step 1, as there is no way to recover/clip from the minimized video.

    Note: clips can only be viewed on the clip dashboard in the browser, which cannot be reached using the twitch webpage. Instead, search "twitch clip dashboard" in your favorite search engine to access the page.

15. Larger Twitch chat font options / reactive design in the mobile chat

    Either in the Android app itself or on the popout chat link in a mobile browser, it would be nice if the chat font could be adjusted to larger sizes. I have a tablet which I like to read Twitch chat on, but if I set the tablet a few feet away from me by my TV, I cannot set the font big enough to read it. And unlike on desktop, when I use the popout chat on a tablet's browser, zooming in does not dynamically change the layout of the popout chat.

    Please make the chat either on the Twitch app itself or in a mobile browser responsive and give it more options to be LARGER.

18. Improving the playback on mobile data

    I have unlimited and quite fast mobile data plan, so I would like to have a smooth live stream playback experience on mobile data, I don't care how much data it would use, it could be experimental option. I have serious problems on mobile, the audio keeps cutting and sometimes even the stream, even though other platforms with live and/or pre-recorded content do not have such problems.

19. True fullscreen for Galaxy S20

    Twitch is not full screen on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and I assume all other models that have the centred pinhole front-facing camera design. When the phone was originally released, the app actually did go full-screen over the pinhole, but just a few weeks later the Twitch app updated to no longer do that. Watching on mobile now means having a black bar over one side of the screen. The whole point of phones like these is the feeling of a true full-screen experience and the current Twitch app design ruins it.

20. Android 9 Support

    Please fix Twitch appv for smartphones with Android 9.
    On this system version you can only adjust microphone volume in the streaming menu, but not fans volume, in fact it makes the phone useless if it not on Android10 or higher if you want to stream mobile games live...
