Remove/hide chat overlay Remove or add an option to hide the chat overlay in landscape mode. I can't even see the map on LoL streams (bottom right of the screen) which is awful UX.
Also remove the notification popping when you double tap the screen to show/hide chat. I know what I did and don't need a notification to inform me.13 votes -
Play stream without stopping music app audio I would love an option for a stream to play but not take over the iOS media audio stream. For example, in the Discord and Reddit apps, if a video is played, its audio will play at the same time as whatever is playing through iOS's background audio!
This way we can watch streams and still listen to our own music

Twitch app, mobile - Filter by Language While using the iOS App, I always have to type in the language tag manually letter by letter to search for a stream in my language.
When I go back to another category, I have to type in the language again.I wish that it will be changed to how it is in the webversion
- that I set a language ones and all streams in that language are shown until I remove the tag + languages should be searchable tags in the App.

Changing the USER UI back to the way as How about it Twitch, changing the new User UI back to the old way of doing things in Twitch. You just have to look through the threads on here and nobody likes the new User UI and even streamers hate the new User UI. Why should I be forced to doom scroll to find people that I follow, where in the old User UI I could see what they were streaming. Not possible to see VODs or continue watching them in current app update In the latest app redesign it is not possible to see which channels have recently streamed and have a VOD available. It is not possible to easily return to a VOD you were watching. The greyscale nature of offline channel names makes it incredibly difficult at a glance to tell who is who. The offline channels have no sorting to them. The home page of the app pauses the VOD when returning to it. Organize Followed Streamers A way to organize followed streamers by categories, favorites, or however a person wishes would make the Twitch app so much easier to use. This especially applies to channels that are live. I follow 300 channels, 30-40 are live at any given time, but I only watch 10-15 consistently. I want to be able to see those without the clutter of the other B or C list channels on my list.

Picture-in-picture Unable to minimize the player in the app without the player automatically going to picture-in-picture mode.
I have “start PiP automatically” DISABLED in my iOS settings.
Used to work like: when a stream is open normally, you could swipe down and the stream would go to a mini-player at the bottom of the screen.
Now: doing the same thing transitions the player to picture-in-picture, which I do not want.
Please resolve by reverting back to the previous functionality, or adding a setting to let the user choose which functionality they prefer.12 votes -
IOS Screen Capture Push notification/Overlay feature?? Push notification/widget for follow alerts, subscriber alerts, overtop of other apps, so that if we are distracted by the game while streaming on IOS, and possibly chat notifications also, so that streamers can see what their chat is saying without having a second device. This could also be used for donations, hosts, raids, bits. Fix the live view counter on IOS Mobile The view counter on the IOS Mobile App for twitch has been broken for about 3 months now after some update. It will no long update in real time and remains frozen at whatever the counter was when you opened the stream.
e.g If you open a stream at 15 viewers it will say 15 viewers the entire time you watch regardless of raids etc or hours passed.
The only way to update the number and see the real viewcount is by closing the stream on your phone refreshing the streamers page and opening the stream again.

Stream Titles on Mobile This TikTok style app is so garbage as many have said... if you're not going to listen to your users, at LEAST let me see the stream titles in my following tab. Stream title and a thumbnail really help me decide who I want to watch and know what is actually being streamed, and both of those were taken away from the mobile app. Half the time now I just close the app and don't watch anybody, cuz I don't want to sit through 30 second ads 4 times just to see 4 different streamers actual stream title to decide…

Remove Ads COMPLETELY There is now an obnoxious about of ads that last an even more obnoxious amount of time. At the very least, I wish they would allow us to sort and display the list of followed streamers by viewer count, like before.
