Column Chat looks absolutely terrible, please revert to old version The new UI isn’t good at all! It has multiple issues like the fact that in landscape, there’s now bars on either side of the column chat view. When the Dynamic Island is on the right side, the video should stretch to the far left side of the phone and not be cut off with a grey bar that isn’t even completely black. The fact that there’s grey bars surrounding the column view looks terrible.
The old way of viewing this column view was fine, and these grey bars are very distracting5 votes -
Test and fix what you have before adding new “features” Please, stop messing with the UI and layout, and actually DO SOME TESTING instead of adding more “features”. If any of the mobile devs opened the app on their phones they would see multiple bugs, such as:
- Zooming switches chat layout
- Minimizing a stream causes the follow list to spaz out
- Multiple extensions that require an api connection do not load

WTF is the useless padding on iOS app? what is going on with the latest iOS update? In landscape fullscreen, the stream is forcefully shrunk just to leave space for the Home Bar at the bottom. Even when the Home Bar hides, that useless padding stays there and the video won't scale up. It ruins the whole fullscreen experience. Please fix this safe area bug and give us back our true full screen!

Fix chat disappearing on mobile Chat keeps disappearing on my phone while I’m trying to interact with chat and streamer I keep having to close my app multiple times for the chat to work again until I have to do it again. Please fix chat bug

Remove overlay change notification I want to switch between full screen and screen with chat modes without the annoying pop-up. I have zero idea how this made it through dev implementation.

Fixes for Clips list CURRENTLY
You can not:
-1.) Go to full video from clip
-2.) Choose which portion of the clip you want to watch or rewind
-3.) Change the quality of the clipsYou can only do 1 and 2 when watching the actual clip from the channel and big channels have hundreds of clips to scroll through.
And add a screen lock option so I stop fingering people and following them randomly when I put my phone in my pocket. Please and thank you.

Twitch Apple TV app leads to burn in Twitch Apple TV app uses static light grey boarders and light button that if left on an OLED display for extended periods of time leads to burn in.
Would be nice if they used black bars and hide static elements like chat button on the Apple TV app.

Add prime under subscription I primarily watch streams on my phone. However, there is no easy way to renew my prime subscription on my phone. I use to be able to goto safari and request the desktop version and renew it there but lately, it’s redirects me back to the app to manage my subscription. But the app doesn’t have a feature to resubscribe with prime. Why hasn’t this been an added feature yet? It just seems like a hassle to have to open up my computer to resubscribe when it cam be added to the mobile application

Stop putting adverts up immediately on entering a channel When I’m browsing channels I don’t follow and just want to find out what someone’s doing i.e. a vibe check, putting ads up the second I go in means I just leave. I don’t watch the adverts. I don’t “stick around to support the channel”. I just leave. Clearly, this is detrimental for viewing and retention to the streamer and to twitch.
Suggestion: stop putting immediate ads up. Add a buffer of 5-10 minutes. Allow people to easily find out if a channel’s good by browsing. No one wants to browse channels and have to wait anywhere from 30 seconds…5 votes -
Remove side pop-up ads First of all, when I’m full screen there should be NO pop-up ads on the side of stream. But, if you really need to milk the money, at least put in a minimal amount of effort for it.
The ad that appears below stream cuts off the bottom of the stream when I go full screen.
I use dark mode and keep getting flash banged at 1 am when an UNCLOSABLE pop-up ad shows up, and sometimes it’s blank so it’s just a bright white screen.

Stop auto-switching channels A minute or two after I first select a channel to watch, the app will automatically switch to the followed channel with the most current viewers — even if it’s the same channel I’m already watching, resetting chat in the process. It’s very annoying to be taken out of the stream I’m watching and thrown into one I didn’t select, often while I’m actively typing a comment. I can’t believe I even have to say this, but let the users choose how they want to use your product. That’s what made you successful to begin with.

Resume Section in app Please have a section that shows video on demand you have been watching so you can easily pick up where you left off, having to search the streamer then remember which show you were watching simply doesn’t work

Clipping When attempting to clip parts of stream I get error coded repeatedly, this is my first time running into this issue so I’m not familiar with how or fix or if possible. All settings are enabled and I’ve had no other clipping issues in the past please fix!

Allow PIP without pausing the stream Since the new mobile app update, every time I put the stream into PiP mode, it pauses the stream I am watching. This never used to happen and it’s extremely frustrating. Please fix this.
