So recently my twitch mobile updated on IOS and despite the other concerns people have expressed here i see little talk about the terrible buggy mess that is the new chat UI. The old version worked fine and had way better animations and user friendliness, while this new garbage is clunky and doesn’t work well. The new version is so bad that 90% of the time when i go into picture in picture mode and then come back some of my UI is just straight up MISSING. I’d be missing my Send button or my entire chat box or who knows what. It’s a gamble each and every time! there’s invisible chat messages very often and it just makes it unusable. I probably use this app every day for hours and this is just so disappointing and makes me want to interact less..
I personally don’t mind any tabs that show me new creators or that i have to select the follow tab before seeing who i like to watch, i just wish i was able to comfortably talk in chat without it breaking every 3 seconds. I noticed today that the old module is still in use on the “chat” tabs in peoples accounts so please please please bring it back fully, i would be so thankful
