If Twitch is going to make generative AI training opt-in by default, please allow users to see which streams have AI training enabled so we can make fully informed decisions about which streams and channels to watch and support, instead of being left uncertain whether the stream we’re participating in is being scraped by Amazon or not. I do not support Twitch’s decision to make generative AI training by Amazon opt-in by default, especially without detailed explanation and consent as to how exactly any data that’s trained upon will be used by Amazon; however, if Twitch intends to keep this as it is, then allowing users to be better informed about the status of the streams and channels they watch re: having AI training enabled or disabled seems like a bare minimum level of transparency.
