You have the age limit for an account as 13. I don’t disagree with the age but I was thinking of a kid edition where younger kids who have parent approval could create an account either on its own or would have to be created under a parents profile, like a family pack or something. I have a son who is 7 and has been playing games since 4. A little hard to believe but true. He wants to be able to watch his father stream and where he could go under my profile he’s very independent and wants his own. I think a kid profile could be a nice touch especially for all the parent streamers that love having their kids involved. I know a lot of people create fake profiles for their kids but I don’t want to potentially ruin his future on twitch by not following guidelines. The kids profile could be locked and only a parent with a special pin or password can approve any follows or views. So say he gets on and wants to look up his dad. He can’t search unless I put in a code and then the code would need input again to watch and again to follow. A 3 step process. But if he’s following someone already he is fine to watch at anytime. And if he wanted to look up any streamers that possibly do Minecraft videos to search, watch and follow would need that 3 process again. And as an extra precaution the code should be mandated to change like every month to insure the kid hasn’t figured it out. Just an idea from a mom that wants her kid to have independence, fun and a safe twitch experience.
