Clearly, people do not enjoy the changes with the home screen. I am fully in agreement because it’s essentially non-functional in my mind. I get you’re trying to “update the interface” etc and be new, but the previous interface had optimal functionality and this new full-screen video sample is not working. I basically stopped using Twitch entirely because it’s maddening to try to use now. What’s going on behind the scenes there? Are you alright?

One other thing about watching streams is the Amazon adverts—I can’t watch a stream at all with the ad on the screen. On top of that you run a 30-second ad at the beginning of the stream as well? Wow. I’m ok with the ads running before the stream starts if unsubscribed, but an ad during the stream is something I’m not going to deal with.

Essentially, I gave up on this Twitch app in the past year because of the changes for the worse. Maybe if things revert or have more stylistic elements from what it was about a year ago, I will go back to watching. But for these reasons sharks, good riddance.
