!!! PSA: android users can use an older version from apkmirror. use the 'apk' download, not the 'bundle'. google 'twitch apkmirror' and spread the word until they fix this.
twitch's corporate structure must be so incredibly disorganized to come to this decision. if there's any possible way someone may know a way to talk to the higher-ups to actually get this through to twitch, that will most likely be required.

I tried using an older version and disabling updates.
They still forced it through the app
