Revert new app changes
Please revert these new changes made to the app. I can’t use the app properly anymore. When I open twitch I want to see my follow list, who’s on and what they are streaming, not some random stream that starts playing.
Also where did the “continue watching” list go? I can’t see it anywhere. Do I actually have to go through profiles and search through vods and try to remember which specific vid I was watching?
Wow! These new changes are a nightmare, please revert to the original format before I delete the app.

Well, with the latest update they doubled down on the new UI. GG, fellow viewers

Opening a stream from the new “Discover” interface is so jarring. Then closing the stream and returning to the interface often results in a crash. Completely ruins the mobile twitch experience.

This new layout makes it so hard to find favorite channels, let alone multiple live channels. It unusable. I really hope they change it back.

Echoing everything posted here…I uninstalled tiktok two days after downloading it because it was formatted with the auto play videos thing. Stop trying to be tiktok. It’s an accessiblity nightmare, for one. At the very least you should have confirmed the ‘stop auto play’ function actually worked before pushing this to live….

Echoing everything already said here. Absolutely awful idea, should have never made it into production. Should have never made it into development.

No pause button, doesn’t respect the “Auto play videos: Off” option in settings. Awful UX

With this last update there have been some app annoying bugs. When I click into a stream I sometimes get 2-3 times audio overlapping. Not sure if it matters what orientation; but when in “landscape” mode the stream will freeze after a while. Backing out and coming back in or restarting app fixes issue for a little while. Hoping for a fast hot patch.

I too came here just to complain about this update. I never knew this “user voice” thing existed. Who genuinely likes when they open an app and it immediately starts auto playing something??? Who???

This new app update is horrible. Please revert it asap. I had to look up how to find my followed live channels, the discovery feed is something I never want to see again.

Dislike the latest updates! It’s not clear how to switch between “Watch” mode and “Create” mode, because the Home Screen changes if you switch from watch to create and switch back to watch. Super confusing. The UI before was at least pretty clear and consistent about where you can switch between watch and create mode (up right corner)

The new Home Screen update is the worst thing I’ve seen for convenience to the user twitch has ever done. Revert back to a useable Home Screen that shows the channels you follow that are live, not some TikTok style instant live videos that are a mix of channels you follow and recommended that interrupt what you’re doing and basically hide the reason you go to your following tab to see who’s live.

When you are watching a stream on iOS and swipe down to go back to the home screen, the "live feed" videos auto play without any way to pause them. So now youre sitting there with stream audio and feed audio playing at the same time.
The two tabs should be Feed and Followed channels without the auto play videos -

This update is beyond terrible, I genuinely don't understand how this got past QA testing. Now when I open the app, it starts autoplaying a stream I don't want, playing at a loud volume, and also occasionally completely breaking and making my app unresponsive? I don't want the app to recommend me streamers I don't want to watch in an awful tiktok interface, I just want to see my follower list when I open the app. And don't even get me started on what you've done to the following list. You hide it by default, and put it in the most inconvenient place possible at the TOP LEFT of my phone screen, requiring me to do stupid hand gymnastics every time I want to get to it. AND EVEN THEN, for whatever reason I no longer have the option to sort my following list by viewer count, and instead some stupid recommendation algorithm? I've never seen anyone ask for any of this, these are all stupid decisions. Genuinely don't want to touch the app anymore because this is such a terrible user experience. Please listen to the me and the numerous other people in this feedback forum and revert this update.

Do you think that when I explicitly turned off ‘autoplay videos’ that I actually meant: ‘turn them off but then ignore that setting when you create this sweet TikTok clone on the home page’.
Respect our settings and/or revert this change

This is possibly the worst home update ever. please bring it back to something that has worked forever and will always continue to work.

The new TikTok like design is annoying. Why do company’s always copy other companies? Like we were happy how it was.
Can we please get the normal design back? The new design is just confusing and tbh I’m ******, that I have to see multiple streams of streamers I don’t follow in order to get to the stream I want to watch.
You ain’t Facebook You are twitch, a streaming platform for long term content and not those short content stuff. I’m going back to the browser on mobile, if you not an IRL Streamer then the app is just waste of space ! -

Please revert the new mobile interface. It makes zero sense and I am unable to easily continue to watch my previous streams. 0/100

I think I’m also going to be forced to uninstall the app on my phone — the new update only makes me feel frustrated and inconvenienced. I much prefer the previous home screen where I could see who was live and decide who to watch. This new version is terrible.
