Please bring back the overview of my followed streams without having me to go an extra step in the top left corner. It isn’t even sorted after viewer amount, i mean come on… Let me open the app with a preferred tab (followed streams), just an easy setting. Got more complicated without any reason.

This app has become borderline NSFW. All I watch are Mario and Souls streamers and yet whenever I open the app, there are scantily clad streamers right on my screen. I've spent at least 30 minutes or more scrolling and marking streams as "not interested in this channel", but it doesn't work.

I can't dream of opening this app at work during downtime or if I'm sitting on the couch with my very young children sitting nearby.

Either revert the changes or actually make an algorithm that respects my manually marked interests - please.

Twitch who ever thought the new layout was a great idea needs to be sacked. I hate the new layout to the point until Twitch reverts it back to the old layout it will never go back on my, Twitch are just trying to be a poor man's copy of TikTok and failed miserable. There is a famous saying if it ain't broken, don't fix it. What it means is that the old layout was perfect and worked, now because of the changes it have basically screwed up the app.

worst update ever!!!

I am baffled as to why Twitch has tried to make a streaming platform app an almost carbon copy of TikTok when they serve different audiences. Yes TikTok has live streams, but was built around scrollable micro vids. Trying to emulate that just alienates the audience and community that frequents the platform. If I am watching on mobile, it is because I am running it while doing other tasks. I very rarely, if ever, try to discover new streams on the mobile app. I want to have the people I follow who are live up front so I can grab one of them to watch while doing other tasks. I understand the desire to try to push for more discoverability, but this new design is not the way. Please revert the app to old version and go back to the drawing board.

As an aside, fly out menus are awful ux on mobile. This is especially true for people who don’t have mini-tablet sized phones.

Genuinely uninstalling this mobile app and will be urging everybody I know to do the same. Revert this unwanted and poorly thought-out update

I agree that new app update is horrible. I could give it a pass if the feeds were only streams I follow, but mixing in random stuff with no rhyme or reason is just terrible. Imagine loading up YouTube and being immediately thrown into a video instead of choosing what you want. Terrible idea. Can’t see titles, and even streams I follow are not in any kind of order. Please please please delete this update and go back to previous version. It was a million times better.

Also it’s very annoying that I can’t hit the down arrow while watching a stream to browse the app without the current stream pausing because the app wants to play the random feed instead…

Yes, I agree, the old version was more pleasant to navigate than the new interface.
We used to have an overview of the live events in progress, but now the "follow" button is in an area that's inaccessible to the thumb (for the doitiers). What's more, the title and preview have disappeared, so there's nothing to make us want to go and see what's going on with our favorite streamer.

The idea of a stream "à la Tiktok" is without doubt one of the worst possible ideas for twitch, because we come there to spend a moment, for the parasocial link with the person streaming, not just for a few seconds, not to zap.

But in this proposal, what really causes me the biggest problem is that I'm on a cell phone, so with limited data... I MUST control my data flow, use it WHEN I WANT and not EVERY time I launch the application!

One positive point: the stories are better managed and the integration of the buttons at the bottom, grouping "discover" "Search" and "Browse" into 1; access to Notification and our account are facilitated. that's good.
But our old "follow" page is missing T_T

New update is trash. I hate that a random stream pops up when I open the app. There's no way to sort the streams. The functionality of seeing favorited categories is gone or if it is there I have yet to find it. This is not TikTok. Please make the mobile app as close to the web version as possible. Many other companies mimic their website and mobile app.

Please at least give users an option to choose which is preferred.

The new app is completely dysfunctional. I go on twitch (and spend my money subscribing to twitch) because I want to watch specific content that I have followed. I never watch random streamers and I am certainly not going to start now with it shoved in my face like this. It has also become so difficult to find the streams I was previously watching, or even specific streams that I’m trying to watch. This is an awful update, please give users the option to revert back.

Agreed! Terrible new UI. I do not want it to auto play any stream until I actually choose a channel. Remove now!!

Whoever came up with the new ui and whoever approved it needs to stop working. A donkey would’ve came up with a better ux than this. Imagine forcing users to go through extra unnecessary steps just to watch what they wanna watch. Donkeys
