I tried the app again. Some improvements to the Following list, but still the same pointless home page that messes up navigation. I'll give it another go in a couple of months, or maybe not.

The entire app has always been pretty bad, the player itself is so out of date it's ridiculous. But the new update and UI are so atrocious I uninstalled it and went back to an old version via APK file. Just copy YouTube mobile app as much as possible without getting sued, It's basically perfect. Especially the player itself.

I don’t even know how to see the people I follow. This is very dumb. I don’t even bother watching anymore. It shouldnt be so confusing.

Current design is awful. I disabled auto play and now when I launch the app, I only see a blurred full screen screenshot which is completely useless. Right now, I'm better off deleting the app and relying on my browser instead.

Can we get an update/response from Twitch on this?

If anyone can respond to this and show us how to rollback twitch to the previous version with an apk. Please do so! Make a guide and post it on youtube for us! I want to support streamers and my friends but i cant do so with the way the twitch mobile app is right now!

I open twitch by habit when I want to watch an esport tournament. But then I get reminded instantly of how ATROCIOUS this app turned into with the tik tok interface. CHANGE IT BACK. do you guys even listen to the community? NO ONE likes this update. I will be sticking to YouTube streams until something changes 😡😡😡😡

The new layout is horrible… horrible, horrible, horrible. Please roll back the changes or fix it. If I open the app, I want to see my followed channels, not some random channel. Whoever decided that Twitch is supposed to clone TikTok needs to be fired immediately.

It's so actively bad I uninstalled and found an APK from before this redesign.

With auto play off (and I'm never turning that garbage on), the app by default opens to a dead page with no content. I click a tiny button to see far less information about my followed streams than was shown before. Never updating this again unless it's reverted.

The redesign is awful. It has made finding things I like impossible. Revert to the old design please.

Why on earth would you remove continue watching, are we just supposed to remember where we left off and fast forward to that point, jot down time frames, it’s ludicrous

I don't know how actively the twitch mobile app developers are watching this thread, but since I can't find a bug report area anywhere in the app...

I experienced today my mobile app switching from one channel to another on its own, while I was in chat only mode... Just abruptly I was in a totally different chat. Had I not been looking at it at the moment it would be VERY easy for me to start typing in it and send a message thinking I was in the one I actually joined. I assume it's related to the same bug that causes the streams to randomly change, but I'm worried to allow my twitch app to update anyway because I'm afraid you'll remove the old layout from tablet view, which is currently the only way it's tolerable.
