Revert new app changes
Please revert these new changes made to the app. I can’t use the app properly anymore. When I open twitch I want to see my follow list, who’s on and what they are streaming, not some random stream that starts playing.
Also where did the “continue watching” list go? I can’t see it anywhere. Do I actually have to go through profiles and search through vods and try to remember which specific vid I was watching?
Wow! These new changes are a nightmare, please revert to the original format before I delete the app.

I deleted the app when these changes appeared in beta. I tried the app again today and deleted it immediately since it's even worse. I minimized my subs to a single channel and cancelled Turbo. Good job!

Hey Twitch, do you even read this page or recent reviews in the app stores?
Do you listen to your users?

What ever Twitch PR or CS person reads this. I’m commenting every day until we get our old mobile app back. Twitch is a 16x9 resolution, horizontal, not vertical. This isn’t Instagram, tiktok, etc. It’s TWITCH! KEEP TWITCH, TWITCH!

You have done nothing to fix this app. When you replaced the old one which was perfect, how long are we supposed to wait? Still no continue watching for video on demand, followed steamers are in a order that makes no sense, they aren’t in alphabetical order or by who most recently streamed, getting more disgusted by the day, I wish all twitch streamers would abandon ship for kick or YouTube, then maybe you would be forced to do something, keep giving 1 star and scathing reviews in your App Store it’s the only way things are going to change

My suggestion for everyone is to leave a review on the app store and then delete the app. The only way Twitch will care is if they see those review scores tank and less people using the app.
Less installs means less user metrics, less engaged users, and lesser ad revenue for Twitch; which are the only things that really influence design.

Not only is this new layout, frankly disgusting, but they have been ignoring everyone’s feedback. A few days ago after I tried the app again I found out they are doing SIDEBAR ADS covering an entire chunk of your already small phone screen. There’s also no way to click off it as well.
I’ve decided I’m fully moving off of the app, and to frosty. I highly recommend you do so as well, if you are on iOS.

The app is STILL bugged and I'm constantly being moved to channels I don't want to watch or their audio is played over the stream I'm watching. GET IT TOGETHER. legitimately the worst app I've ever used.

Please bring back the basic functionality of the mobile app we had before. Twitch is not like TiKTok or any of the other short video scrolling apps. We come to watch the streams we love while we are on the go. I find myself watching Twitch less because it's more difficult to navigate to the videos I was watching. Whoever thought this new UI was a good idea obviously doesn't use the app themselves. Please revert with all haste.

The sheer, unbounded idiocy of having the following list sorted by ‘Recommended For You’.
Of course they’re ‘recommended for me’, I’M FOLLOWING THEIR SODDING CHANNELS!
What does ‘recommended for you’ even mean in this context? It certainly doesn’t push to the top the channels I’ve watched the most lately.
Utterly moronic changes to the app that have ruined the twitch experience.
Twitch. Is. Not. Tiktok. -

You can Install an old Version of Twitch. Still works. I got 19.6.1
Just make sure to disable Auto Updates for Twitch in the Play Store. -

Twitch doesn’t seem to be reading anything here in the uservoice, otherwise we would have gotten the old app ui back or a legacy app by now. They keep making minor changes to try and make it closer to the old app without trying to change it back and its So Frustrating seeing every new rollout just break the app more while getting further away from what the users Actually want. The new version was apparently the brain child of the new CEO, he thought it would bring more engagement from tiktok users and instagram users. It hasn’t. It’s Alienated the users already on the mobile app, and honestly, I hate it. Its not accessible, its horribly designed, the landing page uses up data Even when Autoplay is turned off, its ahot mess that should have been thrown out in the testing phase. Over a Thousand people, myself included, told them not to ship it, they ignored us. Completely ignored us. They don’t care. I hope the accessibility lawsuits change their minds.

I agree. This is an atrocious update that needs to be reverted. When I go to twitch I don't want to have some random streamer forced into my face on autoplay. I want to see the people I follow first and foremost.
If I wanted to see TikTok I would open TikTok. Twitch is not TikTok and should not try to be. This is exactly the same reason I never use the dedicated "shorts" pages on YouTube - it gives me no control over what videos I watch but just randomly forces something on me. I don't like that. I want the freedom to choose what I watch.

Seems like they're sticking with the changes, but hope they are reverted. The only new thing I enjoy is when watching, the different chat modes and modular placement of chat. The navigation to streams is terrible and even if you ignore the annoying bugs (sometimes playing two streams at same time), it's annoying every single time I go to use it.

Wish I had never updated. Last version was so much better all around. Channel points also aren’t showing an accurate count now. Twitch needs to step up to this asap. The people have spoken!

IDK, how on earth you engineer think the update is great. I can't even found a Channel I used to watch. The follow list is bad as well. Your App doesn't need the QA before an update release?

Agreed. This update is absolutely disgusting. The idea to steer toward a social media style that encourages low attention spans completely goes against the whole point in watching Twitch streams. The continue watching aspect is completely removed? What a rude thing to do. All I do is watch rebroadcasts of tournaments and never in one sitting. Whoever had this idea should no longer be in the brainstorming process for ideas.

The new update an UI (Android) are so bad that I won't use the mobile app anymore. Please add an option to revert to the non-tiktock style interface.
