Revert new app changes
Please revert these new changes made to the app. I can’t use the app properly anymore. When I open twitch I want to see my follow list, who’s on and what they are streaming, not some random stream that starts playing.
Also where did the “continue watching” list go? I can’t see it anywhere. Do I actually have to go through profiles and search through vods and try to remember which specific vid I was watching?
Wow! These new changes are a nightmare, please revert to the original format before I delete the app.

Apparently there are a lot of idiots at twitch. I used to put streamers on real quick while at work to listen to. This new UI is dogshit. I will be putting on YouTube videos from here on out at work and just support my streamers from PC when I get home. Un-installed app I've had for years, so sad that companies think they know best what we want.

Completely agree! When I open Twitch I want to see the channels I follow, and rarely want to see suggested streams that may be of interest to me. I don’t want to scroll tiktok-style through endless streams I’ve never heard of. The old homescreen was fine and much more appropriate for the way I use Twitch. At the very least, the infinite-scroll could prioritize streams I follow rather than just whatever most-popular, barely-adjacent-to-my-interests stream the app tries to spoon-feed me. I also strongly dislike opening an app and being blasted with flashing lights and moving pictures, the static images of the previous homescreen were much preferred. I don’t know anyone who thinks this update is an improvement and really hope Twitch sees that they have made a mistake. Thank you, Twitch mobile devs, for the work you do, but this update ain’t it.

Every comment here hit's the nail squarely on the head. Tik Tok is a terrible app full of brain rotted indivuals the with the attention span of a chihuahua puppy. The decision to emulate that dumpster fire of an app is beyond me. Furthermore, it alienates the users that were already used to how the mobile app worked in the past. I don't like when updates COMPLETELY overhaul the app UNNECISSARILY. Almost makes me want to uninstall the app all together.

And when you do revert back to the previous version. Remember this **** storm you started. Never do this **** again. AND WORK ON THE CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS. Make the system rock solid first. No more can’t watch the creators we want due to glitches, connection issues, or just general lazy workers not fixing **** at the company. DO ******* BETTER!!!!!!!!! (CORPORATE)👆( this means you)

I liked twitch because it was a place where I can settle in and chill. This new UI takes away all of that. I don't know what is going to show up on my screen, I don't know who is live without looking through the channels, I can't see what categories are being streamed with how many people are watching, nothing. This UI feels insulting both to viewers and creators as it portrays the viewers like they are so braindead and stupid that they'll fall for anything and the creators because now with the "tiktok scrolling" style it makes it appear like their content isn't worth watching. I want to support the streamers I like but also don't want to support this shoddy UI system but I can't do both as a lot of streamers don't actually stream anywhere else. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. You can't just go and make a huge change to one of the basic biggest chunks of your website and expect people to like with without asking them first. The old UI was simple and straight to the point which is why it worked, changing it to the style of an app designed for the literal opposite type of content created the worst of both worlds. I don't understand how this was thought of, approved, designed, coded, and implemented without a second thought about the users but hey, here we are with a company that clearly doesn't care about anyone that uses their products and only sees us as the gateway to the money in our pockets. I don't ever post or complain about stuff like this but this was the most obviously dumb decision I have ever seen made by a company. Twitch, please fix your app, stick to what was already working for you and your users, and listen to feedback from your user base.
Edit: TLDR: This system doesn't work, feels insulting, and twitch needs to listen to its user base.

I used the Twitch app to support my favorite streamers and so all the content was in one easy place to find, including older VODs. This update has been terrible, though. I feel like I'm forced to search my favorite streamers every time I open up the app, and I have to find the VODs every time too. Or I can just go to YouTube, which still saves my most recent activity for VODs..... Then there'd be no headache from TwitchTok, at least.
I'd much rather just stick with Twitch, but not with the new update. See ya when it's fixed, I guess -.-

The new layout is an objectively bad decision. As many people stated already, the Tiktok-esque layout is not liked by many.
The features we were used to are gone. Being able to see stream thumbnails and choose a streamer to watch, a "Continue Watching" section for VODs, a clips section of only the people you follow, all gone. Genuinely a mind-blowing decision to make this the new UI. Like many others, I will be no longer using the app until the changes are reverted, and leaving a poor review in the app store.

When we asked for improvements to the mobile app, the last thing we meant was totally reinventing the wheel. Somehow an update that should give us more control over sorting functions, if anything, is somehow giving us less, which is almost impressive how few there are already. Still no emote integration, still clips that take a full minute to create (?????), yet this was their priority. I've changed my stance from the past... If they revert this like they should, I hope the first thing they decide is to not lay another finger on this app because either way it's clear they'll never bother to fix anything remotely important

The biggest problem for most is the Home screen. The activity, profile and browse tabs are different, but not necessarily a bad idea. It condenses some of the features and makes the interface a bit less daunting at first glance instead of everything in front of you at once.
The Home Screen however is very flawed. We are no longer able to conveniently browse our followed channels and it is a hassle. I, for one, am not a fan of the clips aspects, but even those who do enjoy it would likely agree that it was better off as a feature than the main premise of the home page. Additionally, this format has made it much harder to find suggested channels. As a result, I can see this being a significant issue for the smaller content creators in the community.
Having moved some of the original features on the home page to seperate tabs, there is more potential for the home page and hopefully this is handled better in the next update.

This new TikTok style layout is poorly
informed and not how anyone I know wants to view streams. -

The idea of a feed like this does not work in the slightest in the context of twitch. Furthermore, I can't find any way to access the "continue watching" section for VODs which was by far the most used feature for me since most streamers I watch live in different timezones. It's an allround bad user experience that's meant an immediate drop in daily usage twitch of over 60% personally. I was simply unable to find the stuff I wanted to watch because of this stupid UI change.
