I echo other's comments. Also, why would why want a stream to autoplay from the homepage when I leave the app idle? If I want to watch a stream, I'll tap on it myself. The previous design is far superior.

I agree with this comment. I heavily used the "continue watching" before the change. Additionally, I want to see the title of the stream in addition to the game/category - I may not be interested in a specific game, but I'll still click on it if I can see it is a charity or anniversary stream, or if the title says that another streamer I like is also playing co-op. The screenshot/category/title layout of the previous system provided everything I needed. Additionally, if I am debating switching streams, I want to have the previous stream still playing while I browse my favorites, however with the new set up the old stream stops playing when I move back to the "home" screen with its autoplay feature.

Unfortunately, having a random stream start playing when I open the app actually gives me a negative impression of the streamer, because they become the face of a frustrating step I have to get through to get to what I want. Now I am actually less likely to open up the Twitch app when I have a few minutes free, because I have to waste time getting to what I want. I've noticed that I am only logging on when I know a streamer is on, and will go to youtube instead during breaks.

The Tiktok ui was made for short form content, and absolutely does not work with Twitch. You used to be able to see at a glance what your streamers are doing on one page. Now you’ve got to scroll through an arbitrary list of people you follow mixed in with random other streamers. There was nothing wrong with the old ui, until then I’d recommend mobile users watch through the webpage on safari instead of dealing with this horrible change.

Please remove whomever made this change, either from the company or genepool. I'm fine with either as long as the app is changed back.

Uninstalled the app and changed my app store score to one star because this update was atrocious. Let us land on our followed channels when launched like before and add the Tik Tok feed stuff to search or discover areas of the app.

This new change to the mobile UI makes using the app insufferable. Please revert the change! We don't want a Tik Tokified version of Twitch, it was great just the way it was before.
