Twitch app update version 17.6 on iOS broke Stream Chat. Fix it now please. BUG REPORT. Installing Twitch app update version 17.6 broke Stream Chat and requires immediate fixing in order to be fully functional.
THE BUG: A user can type and "send" chat messages that show up on the Twitch app's interface, but they do NOT EVER actually go to the Stream Chat. They don't show up. No one at all sees them.
ATTEMPTS TO WORKAROUND: I found no workarounds on iOS. I've DELETED the app, rebooted the iOS device, REINSTALLED the Twitch app. The result is exactly the same. I've also made sure it's specifically an app problem and not an overall…7 votes -
Emotes are bugged I haven’t been able too use more then 1 emote on the iOS version of the app, I can’t participate in channel raids because the raid message gets deleted and anytime I send a message with 2 emotes it’ll appear on my end but won’t send to any of the streamers with a live chat feed

Fix Andriod / Chromecast casting quality Due to a recent update the quality when casting to a Chromecast seems to be limited to around 480p. Never had an issue before about 4 months ago. I have 4 Chromecasts of every generation, all have the same issue regardless of which device initiates the cast. The quality setting on the mobile device does nothing. Can this be fixed or at least give the user the ability to adjust the quality from the mobile device?

Play In Background fails during picture-in-picture mode Play In Background claims it will switch to audio only mode when the screen is locked. I have it enabled.
When I have the app open and I lock the screen or swipe down from tho top of the screen to open the iOS notification center, the audio does continue playing.
When I leave the app while a stream is playing, the stream continues playing in a picture-in-picture mode. If I then lock the screen or open the iOS notification center, the playback pauses rather than switching to audio only mode and continuing.

Filtrer et trier Bonjour
Il y a un problème sur Android quand vous cliqué sur filtrer et trier ensuite cherchent tous les tags on n'a aucune possibilité de garde un tag en favori on est obligé de revenir et refaire toujours la même manipulation quand on quitte la rubrique. alors que sur iPhone on peut faire sa par exemple choisir sa langue est la mettre en favori.

Stream Summary Stats Bug Stream Summary tab on Mobile is bugged to where the most recent stream’s analytics is bugged and results do not load, second-most recent stream’s analytics DOES load, and it’s inconsistent from there on.

Ever since the latest Twitch App update on Android, the battery drains when Chromecasting to a TV, as if the stream is playing full-screen on the phone. In a test, the battery on my Pixel 6 drained from 100% to 10% in one hour, with the Twitch App accounting for 99% of the usage, despite video playback being on a TV and the phone being in sleep mode.

Home page shouldn't force portrait mode I don't like the new home page, but if we are keeping it can you AT LEAST not have it force portrait mode? I primarily use Twitch in landscape and it is so infuriating to go to the home page. On a Samsung Z Fold 5 by the way

Stream freezes After the last update, the application began to freeze after 10-15 seconds when watching a stream via AirPlay at 1080p. Reducing image quality helps.

mobile app not loading polls or sending me on raids The mobile app isn't sending me with raids always even though I'm on the latest version. Reloading the stream doesn't put me in the raid, and reloading the entire app takes too much time and the raid is already gone.
I see people also mention polls in chat, but I can't seem to see them. If I reload the stream I can see a poll others are mentioning, but I have reload ever single time, and I can't do that on channels I'm not subscribed to and will get an ad on every reload of a stream.

To fix: PIP on iPad pauses from time to time (bug) Hello. About 3 months ago the app on iPad started to pause the video while on PIP from time to time with no apparent correlation with other apps our behaviors. Sometimes it starts pausing after ~1h of exclusive PIP playback; sometimes it starts pausing after the playback is interrupted by other sound playback, and after that it keeps pausing.
In all cases, the user needs to press play again everytime it pauses - sometimes more than 30 times per hour.

Chat-Replay randomly stops When watching VODs with a lot of chat activity the chat-replay stops after a few seconds. It only continues when you restart the VOD.

Fix the mobile app The mobile app really sucks at the moment if I’m being honest but I fell like the problems can be fixed. One thing is the chat and stream and how all that work. I don’t know if this is just me but the chat it about 10 seconds ahead of the stream for some reason. I always see chat answers questions the streamer asked like 10 seconds before they asked them and it makes chat pretty useless in mobile. Another thing that’s bad on mobile is the twitch predictions. Fix the livestream playback not keeping the screen awake (Android tablet) After the latest app update I can't even watch streams, the screen turns off like I'm not using the app, and the playback stops (unless background audio option isn't set to "always", then the tablet just locks the screen and goes black, while still playing the audio).
Clips still work fine, I can watch VODs with no problems, the feed still works (even though it's atrocious on a tablet because it forces portrait orientation), but not the livestreams, which are the whole point of this platform. It works on my phone for some reason, but not the tablet.

Bug: Ads in VODs reset VOD to begnning This has been an issue on my IOS system for about a month now. When pre-roll ads, or general ads play while I'm watching a VOD on mobile it resets the video to beginning.
Specifically, what will happen is that the ad will play, the VOD will then "reset" and be paused at 00:15, when I then press play the video will start from 00:00.
This is a major Issue that has made the main way I watch twitch (i.e. long form VODs) almost completely unwatchable.
