Picture-in-picture Unable to minimize the player in the app without the player automatically going to picture-in-picture mode.
I have “start PiP automatically” DISABLED in my iOS settings.
Used to work like: when a stream is open normally, you could swipe down and the stream would go to a mini-player at the bottom of the screen.
Now: doing the same thing transitions the player to picture-in-picture, which I do not want.
Please resolve by reverting back to the previous functionality, or adding a setting to let the user choose which functionality they prefer.9 votes -
Add a setting that automatically unfilters chat messages I hate having to go back in my comment section and clicking the message and uncensor the entire message to see what they said, I think this should be added especially if you are a streamer yourself

Remove Guests bar When a streamer has a guest on guest star and you watch on mobile in landscape, there’s a big bar that never goes away that shows how many guests. It makes the stream way smaller and is very annoying

More options for mobile chat overlay I like the new chat overlay when using the app on iOS in landscape mode, however, it needs more options to improve usability.
Currently, only the last message is displayed and disappears within 3 seconds. This means I need to be constantly watching to catch what is said, which is not how I tend to use Twitch on mobile.
Including three additional settings options would lead to more flexible usability:
1) Number of chat messages and/or lines of chat to be displayed simultaneously
2) Length of time messages are displayed before disappearing, with the option to have them not disappear…4 votes -
Fix take down stream after streaming Twitch has no option to delete or remove saved past streams that save after you end… There’s no button no 3 dot to click on no way to get it off my page and it was all difficulties i had during the stream with my camera i don’t want that up obviously

App crashes when ad is running and you touch anything App crashes when ad roll is going and you touch anything on the screen (chat, polls, betting channel points, the drop down to look at the streamer’s info, even the ad).

Caption enable/disable No idea.
Captions horizontal view is unobstructed when viewing the streamer. When viewing vertically , the default position of an iPhone or any mobile device of our time, the captions block the streamer provided they’re placed on the bottom corners of the screen.

Do not under any circumstances send me push notifications for a channel I have disabled notifications. If I have disabled notifications for a channel, don’t send me notifications for things from that channel. I don’t want to hear about new stories or whatever useless **** you’re trying to make a thing.

Enough of these annoying, greedy ads I rarely use this app, but the amount of ads I’ve been getting lately has been invasive and annoying. I don’t understand why streamers can’t have full control of ad choices which results in this site doing everything they can to annoy viewers as much as possible with not 2, not 3, but 9 ADS! What purpose do these ads have when creators or moderators can’t control the amount of ads that could ruin the enjoyment of viewers? My idea is for the Twitch app to not crash on iOS This might be a crazy idea, but it would be fun if we could participate in polls and predictions. Maybe even be able to open links in chat. My idea would allow these advanced features without the app crashing, every, single time
